The blue pirate from the miller
Well, who hasn't been there: At the beginning (actually so far at the beginning that I probably couldn't have named 3 fragrance houses yet) of your fragrance career, you run through the perfume department of any 0815 drugstore, be it Müller, DM or in my case Bipa, see the immense selection of fragrances, test a few of them for fun (of course nothing that would cost over 30€, you're not crazy to spend that much on a perfumed water) and then just take the one you like best.
And yes, that's exactly what the fragrance smells like. Unobtrusive on the strip but not bad, a little fresh, somewhat aquatic, a bit like some deodorants. On the skin or clothing, it's a different story. Pure synthetics that could knock you out within the first 20 minutes of the fragrance (at least if - like me when I wore it for the first time - you used far too much of it, not knowing whether it was the right scent to use), then diminishes rapidly and after 2-3 hours is only minimally perceptible close to the skin.
A really great first experience with one of the first fragrances? Absolutely not, more like making you think twice about whether the fragrance, which is more expensive than the deodorant you have been using up to now, is actually superior to it and should be worn. Nevertheless, I have now made my leap into the world of more pleasant (and unfortunately also more expensive) (niche) fragrances, but I can't really make any recommendations for this perfume.
