Spring Hint
Calendar-wise, it’s not even winter yet, but this fragrance already hints at spring. The box is a bright neon pink with black, and I had a floral explosion in mind when I saw it. With some reservations, I tested it and expected a strong hint of vanilla, which seems to be everywhere these days. What a lovely misconception.
The opening is fresh and fruity with some delicate flowers. Rose and jasmine come in, with the rose dominating over jasmine, but not too strongly. Feminine without being intrusive. Iris keeps the vanilla and musk at bay and rounds it off with a powdery finish. Vanilla and musk are listed, but only faintly detectable. The fragrance is light and fluffy without being girlish. A go-to for the summer half of the year that always serves you well. The price-performance ratio is also commendable. Longevity is not an issue either. The scent becomes weaker but doesn’t completely disappear. It stays close to the skin for quite a while.
