Very weird opening, beautiful fragrance.
When buying a bottle of Sculpture Parfum, i was able to get this for free. So i muttered to myself "Wow, a free fragrance? why not." and put this in my basket as well. Expecting it to just be a low budget version of "Angel's share" or something.

First off, this fragrance really is nothing like anything else out there, it's weird; it's incredibly unusual and yet beautiful.

Opening: Plum and Tagetes coming together. The first sprays really smell like a 1980s women's fragrance without the signature "indolic / urine-like jasmine accord" that we are all used to. It's weird, soapy; but oddly beautiful.

Middle: As the questionable opening dries down, you are met with a very smooth, sweet smell of cloves, cinnamon and a chocolate/praline. It is very warm-spicy. It goes from odd to heavenly in an instant.

Drydown: This fragrance seemingly is made up of nearly only base notes and heavier molecules so after the opening fades, it is very linear. that beautiful warm spicy chocolate vibe never leaves but gets darker and more chocolate-like, and that's not a bad thing. It's very intoxicating.

In conclusion: If the opening wasn't so weird, this fragrance would damn near be iconic. It's criminal how creative/weird it is for the 30$ it usually retails for. Not blind buy safe at all. Be warned.

I will try rocking it to see if people like it or hate it. Drydown is heavenly. 9/10. I will deduct 1 point just because it smells weird when first sprayed.

The Story of a Deceiver.
Anyone hoping for a freshie here - I must disappoint you! Sculpture Air de Lune is a winter fragrance - more so, a true scent for the Christmas season.

It reminds me again of another fragrance. Is it "Casamorati - Dolce Amalfi (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff"? A little! Is there a bit of the plum from Arabesque? A little! Do I occasionally get bubblegum vibes? Yes! Indeed! It is definitely one thing: not a summer scent!

The packaging and the bottle could give a false impression. Just like with "Réverie," the brand's goal of being a player in the mid-price segment is consistently pursued here. "Air de Lune" is a very well-made fragrance. By no means new or innovative. No. But it is beautiful! It smells high quality. Sillage & longevity are above average!

The fragrance draws from the DNA of the successful pioneers of Christmas market scents like "Angels' Share | Kilian," "Arabesque | The Merchant Of Venice," and Oajan - and does so in a fluffier manner. A bit dolce amalfi, a bit punch, a bit I hear the angels sharing… But no! This is not a summer scent!

The fragrance is supposed to start with mandarin, plum, and marigold. Unfortunately, I don't get the mandarin at all. Where is it?

It moves into the heart with wonderfully beautiful clove (probably where the link to "Casamorati - Dolce Amalfi (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" comes from) and praline, then it fades out for about 8 hours with vanilla, musk, and patchouli.

I like it. It is worth its proud price of 120 euros. It's just a shame if you've already found your favorite Christmas market scents years ago - then it is more of an olfactory disappointment.

But: It is great that this high-quality fragrance DNA is now available for 120 euros (and it will quickly become cheaper once online perfumeries carry it) to people who don't want to shell out 300 euros.

This release also clearly shows that Nikos/Sculpture wants to move into the affordable niche. This was already evident with Sculpture Voyage en Orient and Sculpture Rêverie - a nice goal - but they would need to take a bit more risk.

I hope that the distribution in-house (only the original Sculpture EdT is distributed by Coty. The Sculptures from Sculpture Parfum are handled by Nikos himself or through Club Unique) runs successfully and that Nikos gets even more desire and courage for new things. So - really niche new….the path is great. I would find it super important that the fragrances are again testable in physical stores. Blind buys are only made by nerds like me.

What was the designer thinking with the color choice? A deceiver! But maybe moon air really smells like a Christmas punch…

A beautiful scent for winter. Nikos delivers!
Sculpture Air de Lune is a beautiful scent for the cold months of the year. The Christmas season fits perfectly with the fragrance. There are certain parallels to one or two other scents. It somewhat enters the realm of a Parfums de Marly Oajan, but fragrances like Kilian's Angels Share are also somewhat similar. Recently, I had a Lattafa from the Niche Emarati collection, the Zikra.
This one actually comes very, very close to Air de Lune.

I generally really like Nikos as a brand. The simple Sculpture was already a fantastic scent for little money back then. Now we unfortunately have somewhat different prices here, but it's still okay because one adapts to the competition.
They clearly want to position themselves in the affordable niche with the prices, and I wouldn't disagree with that at all, because the fragrances are really well made.

With Air de Lune, we have a warm, spicy winter scent. It simply has a noticeable sweetness. Additionally, it has a very slight fruity note from the plum.

Notes like clove, plum, a bit of orange blossom, praline, vanilla, and a little patchouli are what I would highlight. The patchouli only comes through towards the end and is very pleasingly designed.
Furthermore, I still think I can smell cinnamon.
However, cinnamon doesn't seem to be listed.

Longevity and sillage are quite good. It lasts about 7-8 hours on me and projects really well at the beginning.

Unisex?
Yes!

On a boat at Starnberger See...
... we are sitting on the deck of the boat. In front of us are coffee, with a large bowl full of pralines that, besides the sweet vanilla chocolate, carry the scent of plums and oranges. Additionally, there's a bouquet of flowers in the air. We are making ourselves comfortable.

Upon applying this fragrance, the first aroma that hits the nose is that of plums, quickly blending with light citrus notes and a few floral accords. Suddenly, the chocolate from the praline with oranges makes its presence known from the side. Furthermore, the woodiness of the vanilla joins in, gaining a powdery note from the musk, while the patchouli adds a touch of mystery.

Nikos has ventured far into the niche territory with this fragrance. They have achieved their goal flawlessly and demonstrated that designers can also create something bold when they are not under the wing of a large corporation focused solely on profit.

The longevity and sillage are good.

Here we have a men's fragrance that is masculine on one side but also has a gourmand touch with a slight sweetness. I see this scent suitable for men from around 18 years old and upwards. It has decided to be an all-rounder, and it truly is, wearable throughout the year. During the day, it can be worn well at university, in the office, during a lunch, while shopping, or simply on a walk. In the evening, it makes just as good an impression at the opera, a pop concert, a date, or simply in a club. The ladies can also feel free to try this fragrance.

If you enjoy a fruity gourmand scent with pralines, citrus, floral, powdery, and dark notes, you are exactly in the right place.

The Hallucinogenic Scent
I am already a big fan of Sculpture Parfum and this one had caught my attention for a long time. After months, I finally found it at an acceptable price and ordered it blindly, and I was not disappointed.

This blend of floral notes mixed with spicy sweetness captivates me. I've never smelled anything like it before, and upon closer inspection, you can even recognize the DNA of the classic Sculpture mentioned above. It is a scent explosion of plum, clove, flowers, and a sweet dessert. I don't really see it as a Christmas scent. It evokes in me more of a feeling as if one had eaten a magic mushroom, and everything becomes colorful, and one rides a unicorn over the rainbow.

Therefore, I find that the bottle fits very well. Otherwise, the shape, cap, and sprayer are unchanged from Sculpture Homme Eau de Toilette and all its successors. The H|S are really good.

Conclusion: If you are looking for an extraordinary scent that takes you on a trip, then you should definitely give this a sniff.

No monstrous sillage, but impressively good longevity. Plum, clean, sweet, and vanilla without being sticky or "syrupy."
