Don't blind buy like me...

It smells like bread but not in a good way for me. A stale an moist bread, a sort of bad breath, the smell of empty beer lying on the table. (Yeast) I thought it was a bad batch but now I understand. I really appreciate JC Ellena's creations and yet I hate Hattaï. So watch out for the blind buy. I didn't smell cocoa, chocolate or vanilla but just this smell that repels me.

Sweet bread

It smells like a spicy sweet bread. Holiday cakes. It's not very strong and not an easy scent to activate. I would suggest wearing it in cool weather. Doesn't get a lot of compliments, but it's not embarrassing in any way. On my skin it smells like a cinnamon spice. Like other mentioned it does smell a bit like bread.

Well, if you say it looks like a wolf, then maybe it does.

At first, it smells like fragrant candy for some reason. As time goes by, it changes to a very woody scent. I think some people who don't like it will not like it. Especially women. It says gourmand amber, but it's not amber like Haribo, it's a woody scent. The last note is quite astringent, a bit of an old man scent. If you choose it based on the top note or middle note, I think you will regret it later. It's gourmand at first, but as it gets closer to the end, it becomes quite a "men's woody" scent. Personally, if I don't like the last note, I'll have to give up on all perfumes, so I won't buy this one.
I don't think it's a very good choice unless you try it in the store and let it sit for a day.

Amber woody chocolate

Rather grandparents moonshine than exclusive cognac ;)

First of all, of course, the price-to-quality ratio – it’s very rare to get a bottle of niche perfumerie for under 40 euros (on Notino). So it’s quite a safe blind buy. And even if it doesn’t suit you, you’ll definitely find a friend to pass it on to without guilt.

The scent itself is peculiar. The opening is safely sweet, a lighter kind of gourmand. But then pepper and bread notes cut through. The dry cocoa bean note may be a challenge for many.

My excitement was dampened by the dry, even sharp sourness of the scent, which started to dominate. It created a kind of fermentation effect. Slightly boozy, but more like homemade moonshine than expensive cognac. A hint of pharmacy and grandma’s herb box, seen through dusty antique glass.

While the opening was very simply pleasant, the development was more challenging. Since the fragrance is not intrusive and comes across rather straightforward and superficial, it’s an excellent layering perfume
