A short affair
The next fragrance from Maison Tahité.
I find the bottles somehow appealing. Reminds me slightly of the LV bottles, but unfortunately the quality is not as good as LV, but considering how expensive these bottles are compared to the other brand, you can easily forgive it.
Since I already own a bottle, I noticed that some parts of the sprayer come off from time to time when I pull it off.
It's annoying from time to time, but well, consider the price.
Let's move on to the fragrance Carnal Cacao
At the beginning, a fruity/floral nuance paired with a certain zestiness shines through, and the latter increases more and more after the floral start The pepper is also very perceptible at the beginning, but also evaporates quite quickly.
Shortly after the start, around 30 minutes in, the cocoa joins in and gives the fragrance a creamy/powdery quality and lends it a certain warmth and comfort.
After another 20 minutes, you can easily recognize the musky nuance, which gives the fragrance a certain light smokiness But an oriental note also joins in and unfortunately changes the fragrance more to the negative, unfortunately. Can't really interpret which note it is, possibly ambroxan?
The cocoa note also disappears again quickly and for me the fragrance becomes spicier and reminds me slightly of a rather fresher, more citrusy version of Spicebomb Extreme. Since Spicebomb Extreme is not quite mine, the fragrance always seems less appealing to me, even though this one is fresher and also softer.
Over time, the "Spicebomb" association recedes and cocoa finally reappears and becomes the dominant note. But unfortunately you also notice that the fragrance comes to an end after about 3 hours and is therefore already a rather weak fragrance The sillage is not really a hit either.
But again, considering the price, you could live with the shortcomings if you like the fragrance.
The start and the end I found very good and also successful, but this between and thus longer "Spicebomb" period I unfortunately do not like so much that the fragrance thus unfortunately falls out for me
