A few days ago, I received my sample from yet another perfectly organized sharing.
The listed fragrance notes immediately piqued my interest, especially in this combination and with a special focus on the camphor tree.
After being convinced by
VaneXstasy recently, I want to take a closer look at the brand from now on.
By the way, the brand is a niche label from Italy.
The perfumer Lucien Ferrero learned his craft in Geneva and has already created a multitude of fragrance compositions. His passion for the perception of the senses, as he states, was discovered at a young age when he lay next to his grandfather watching the stars.
Ferrero also has his own line, but I have yet to experience a fragrance from this collection.
With Vanilla Park, a particularly exciting and beautiful composition has emerged.
I was a bit surprised by the rather negative opinions of those who have also tested the fragrance so far. But, as is well known, it’s always a matter of taste!
Perhaps we have a candidate here that has the potential to polarize!?
For me, the fragrance starts incredibly exciting, unique, and strong.
I have not encountered a comparable top note until today, and I love it!
Of course, you quickly discover a distinct note of vanilla, but it is combined with a bit of freshness and something slightly "scratchy," which I mean exclusively in a positive sense in this context. I strongly suspect that the camphor tree is responsible for this and brings exactly the exciting twist I was hoping for.
If I could preserve the first 5 minutes, it would personally be a 9.0 for me.
As it develops, the fragrance increasingly gains sweet warmth, which I believe is clearly due to benzoin. I’m not the biggest fan of it, but it is known to harmoniously envelop the notes of vanilla, which I can confirm here.
Even more sweetness is likely brought by the listed cotton candy. I have never liked it at the fair, and here it should have simply been left out.
A few percentage points less sweetness would have certainly suited the fragrance well.
Nevertheless, it remains a good fragrance for me, whose vanilla I find very pleasant.
For me, Vanilla Park has a certain charm and a certain twist, which makes the fragrance pleasing and wearable for me despite its sweetness.
The sillage is particularly impressive at the beginning; it projects noticeably!
The longevity is also commendable; after 8 hours, it is still well perceivable on my skin.
