Aromatherapeutic masterpiece
This is imo underrated. I think this is amazing scent. It is very uplifting, invigorating and energizing. It can also be very mediating type of scent profile. It does remind me a bit of the red tiger balsam. A true aromatherapeutic experience.
I think the new revision which has added spearmint absolute and upgraded to cinnamon absolute makes this even better now! Just bought a 52ml full bottle! This will serve well in any season.
The materials in this creation is very interesting also. With extracts from the ruby cypress tree, dragons blood resin from the dracaena cinnabari tree which is obtained from the Yemen geography. birch, bergamot, amaretto, cloves, black pepper etc. This is a very nice hybrid of a woody and spicy as well as herbal scent. The reddish color of the juice is alone mesmerizing!
4,5/5 scent wise,
Performance is on par with the typical extraits from pineward, just great!

witchy brew
This is very spice forward with some resinous and camphorous accords, and some warm powderiness. This opens slightly sweet and boozy with a spiced amaretto. You get a blend of spices with a sweet cinnamon, warm cloves, and aromatic black pepper. Then you get some of the dragons blood resin come in along with a lot fresh greenness. It creates a warm and resinous aroma but with a contrast of very fresh and green earthiness. The scent is spiced all throughout but very herbal, green, and fresh with only a hint of sweetness. It manages to be very woody and smooth too with the orris and sandalwood.

Spice Banger
I was worried that this would be a little too gourmand for me but it isn't. This fragrance starts with a resin and spice blend that gives a hint of leather, even though leather is not listed as a note. Then it quickly turns into a strong warm cinnamon and clove. There is a hint of Coca-cola, which was a pleasant surprise. The dry down is a mellows out into a spicy green and woody fragrance. I don't get dessert from this or Cinnabon sweet roll, like most cinnamon fragrances tend to lean towards. Instead this is more like walking into one of those cabin stores that sells those decorative brooms that smell like cinnamon. This was a pleasant surprise, did not expect this hidden banger. It lasted about 5 hours on my skin and had good projection throughout. Its $80 for 17ml, $135 for 37ml, and $205 for 57 ml.

Sharp, spicy, camphor-rich
Sampling Pineward Perfumes Katabatic, a late 2022 release, a sharp and spicy mix that neither falls into the “pine resin” nor gourmand subgenre, and as such is a bit of an outlier for the house. It has a prominent camphor note—sharp, woody, green, spicy, a bit minty—along with other sharp notes of birch, anise, bitter almond, and orris, along with an ensemble of woody notes. It’s definitely a mix unlikely anything I’ve smelled previously, pungent and provocative. And while I generally prefer that it falls into one of the abovementioned categories, it’s nice to have some variety. Still, it lands oddly on my skin to the point that I think I’m not a good fit for it, personally, but I’d still recommend that others try it if they’re sampling the house, as it does add variety the catalogue.

As with the rest of the line, the concentration is high (extrait) and the pricing is $205/135/80 for 57/37/17ml, fair, in my opinion, for rich, indie perfume.
