Excellent expression of GIT, slightly less sharp
Vert Gentilhomme, Dua’s 2016 inspired expression of Creed’s 1985 classic Green Irish Tweed, and it’s probably my very favorite impression of a Creed fragrance, being very similar overall to GIT, with better performance. The main differences are slight, with VG being slightly less sharp and crisp than GIT, the main reason being that GIT seems to use a little more violet and lemon verbena than VG, but I rather like this about VG, which is actually easier to wear and is slightly less heady than the original. Still a balanced, mossy, fresh creation, gentlemanly and ready for the day, especially in the warm weather. I’d certainly recommend anyone that’s curious about it to try it out, as it’s a lower-priced and higher-performing alternative to the original, Dua’s 30ml size still being very handy, especially in their current bottle shape.
