Mediocre scented oil from the Christmas market in the 2000s
I've had the fragrance around for a few years because I like the base note and I've been waiting for the right perfume to layer it so that it becomes beautiful. The following problem arose: in order to penetrate it somehow, the layer partners would have to be really strong. The opposite pole, however, would be a really zippy Freshy. Unfortunately, beautiful Freshys are usually not strong enough. The truffle bomb is so dominant. Now I've been given a really citrusy one. One that I don't like either (Les Eaux d'un Instant - Blooming Grapefruit Angel Schlesser). Minus and minus could be good again. It's actually getting a bit better. But still slightly disgusting, because I have to admit to myself that I don't like the Belgian truffle because of its exaggerated stickiness, but because of everything that makes it special:
In terms of consistency alone, it is more scented oil than perfume. It is oily, dark, greasy and sticky. Haptically as well as oilfactorily. And unfortunately, the contents are probably just as cheap. It smells really obtrusive, cheap, synthetic (in a very unpleasant way, like in the Lidl department where scented candles and cheap decorations are displayed in winter) It smells like back in the 2000s when there were cookie, Christmas brownie, cinnamon chestnut vanillin, etc... everywhere. Scented oils for the fragrance lamps. Just like that. And I'm only really noticing that now.
Of course, after this association, the game is over and it will never be sprayed again. Not even for Christmas, there are better quality fragrance oils these days ... That's why I rated the price-performance ratio as very poor. Because what is comparable to a bad room fragrance should also have a comparable price. However, over 50 euros is no bargain for 30 ml of cheap room fragrance
