The synthetic bomb, not pretty - but very strong / my honest opinion on it + possible tip
Hello everyone,
I have never been a fan or supporter of dupe/cloning houses like, for example, DUA Fragrance, and I certainly never will be, because the main issue is that they always try again and again to create a fragrance that closely resembles a well-known one, and well... there is always a massive problem with the quality or what these companies use...
Here we are talking about synthetic ingredients. It is very clear to me that almost every fragrance in the world uses these, however, when fragrances consist of 98% (+) of such "artificial" ingredients, it is really hard for me at the end of the day to say that I find that remotely good...
When I see that there are fragrance houses like Chanel, Guerlain, and also Xerjoff (17/17 series), which are known for using many natural oils compared to other houses, just as a side note!
Here we have a fragrance with the "Supernova Cologne | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances" which is supposed to strongly resemble the "Elysium Parfum Cologne (Eau de Parfum) | Roja Parfums"!
And YES, it does, just not well.
And...
However, I must mention something positive regarding DUA FRAGRANCE in general (this is often the case), some fragrances have really almost bizarre longevity + sillage, and this is also the case with the "Supernova Cologne | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances", so thumbs up for that! (but what good is this brutal performance if the fragrance doesn’t smell as nice as it could...)
All the fragrances that Dua tries to CLONE are artificial interpretations, nothing more, and to be open and honest, this is already not financially feasible for most (niche) fragrances.
(MY OPINION!)
To try out the direction, it is okay to test them, but I find it difficult - when you know how a fragrance can "feel"... and citrus clones are always the hardest!
I also know that not everyone has the money for a fragrance costing 100€ (+), so my tip for those is to buy a fragrance from Chanel or Guerlain instead of DUA, because in the end, you will get more out of it!
And now have a nice day/evening or whenever you read this review, best regards, Benny
