Game - set - win? Unfortunately no, but good serve
The 'Tennis Green' lives up to its name: at times I feel "beamed" to a tennis court where you would catch me holding my olfactory bulb to the green floor.
Tennis Green starts off citrusy-green with a tart, slightly musty note that quickly finds its way back to citrus. I don't know if it's rhubarb that you can smell - it's a good citrusy freshie at the beginning, which triggers a slight "tingle" in the nose due to the mint and pepper. Good impact!
As it progresses, around 60-90 minutes later, it is still the green tennis court, but has become slightly creamier, sweeter and milder. I would say that you can now smell the teak wood and moss more clearly than before. Jasmine is probably responsible for the creaminess; no trace of saffron so far.
After approx. 5 hours, the fragrance has clearly worn off.
Musk and amber and one of the woods are now most present, no more trace of a "green freshie". It has now become very generic, unfortunately very unspectacular. Not bad by any means - but it has lost that certain 'something' and could also be a designer in the DD.
Final word:
In my opinion, the fragrance is unisex with a slight twist towards masculinity. Late spring to early summer. Absolutely suitable for daily wear. The fragrance starts very pleasant, very unique. In the DD, however, it becomes more boring and after 5-6h it is over on my skin, it is then only perceptible close to the skin.
The Tennis Green seems to go for around €175 over the counter. Is it worth it for me? No. I see it more in the region of 125€. All in all, I would give it a 3+ or 7. I'm not a tennis person, but I would classify it as a high-level tournament, but with slightly less prestige and prize money.
