Red Tobacco?

So i just blind bought this fragrance and never smelled layton from pdm. I was so familiar with this scent already. I don’t know if it’s just me but this really smells like red tobacco for me. I don’t know why but it’s like 80+ percent similar to it it’s just fresher in my opinion without the tobacco. My girlfriend hates red tobacco but really likes this one so it might be just me.

Performance is okay with this one nothing spectacular but i bought it for like 18 euros so nothing to complain

Conclusion: Really nice scent! Fresh spicy and a little bit of sweetness

Beautiful fragrance DNA

My name is Alex....and I am ...addicted!

As I don't need anything or already have everything...I have treated myself to around 50 fragrance clones so far this year as an early Christmas present.
Good fragrances have been a more or less pronounced and lived passion since I was young.

Ever since I realized how good the Arabian fragrance houses are, I just can't hold myself back.
Today I'm going to talk about the Royal Paragon from Afnan/Zimaya.
The fragrance starts off very alcohol-heavy...as soon as the alcohol has evaporated, a rather beautiful, spicy scent emerges.
The spiciness is underlaid with something sweet and floral, but only subtly, which makes the whole thing quite harmonious.
The very delicate fragrance lasts for about 6 hours....and that is perfectly adequate for 20. At this price, you could even reapply several times a day and still be much cheaper than with Layton.
The bottle is 1a.
Satin blue glass with metal cap.

Specified fragrance notes are: Bitter almond, bergamot, gardenia - mandarin, orange, rose, guaiac wood - coffee, patchouli, amber, oakmoss.

For friends of subtle spicy fragrances a recommendation from me.

Another great Layton alternative

Royal Paragon unmistakably follows the path of a perfume de Marly Layton. In the meantime, there are already umpteen alternatives to Layton, but this one is still a good success. It projects a little less, doesn't last quite as long on me and is a little more masculine.
For me, it feels like 85-90% Layton and the remaining percentage a Layton Exclusif.

We also have this super great apple pie vibe here, very slightly refreshed, just like in Al Haramain Detour Noir.
However, in my opinion, there is a more intense woody facet to it, as well as more cardamom.
The fragrance therefore seems a tick less sweet, especially over time. It comes across a little more "tart" and masculine than Detour Noir or the original Layton.

All in all, a really great fragrance and for this price, there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

In my opinion, the fragrance is wearable unisex, but due to the somewhat more masculine flair, I tend to see the Royal Paragon more on a man.

The performance is definitely good.
In my opinion, however, somewhat weaker than the original or in comparison to Detour Noir.

I don't know the original Layton. I got the dupe from Eclat. Then this one. I have to say that I like this one better. To smell like this for so little money is sensational!
For me, this is definitely a fragrance that I will order again. If the *imitations* continue like this, the big ones will have to come up with something. Great fragrance for little money

Elegant men's fragrance

Great, masculine, delicately spicy fragrance. In my opinion, wearable at any time of year and for any occasion. I think the bottle is great with a heavy plastic cap and a great spray head. Price / performance is simply unbeatable here. I always have it on backup. The 8.3 rating is justified. Longevity is ok for the price, I just use it more often to revive the fragrance.
