Great Binaco Latte replacement in Beastmode
This was a birthday present from a loved one. My taste has been met once again and I am delighted to have this fragrance in my collection. Would I have bought it myself? Probably not, as I already own a great clone of the great Bianco Latte with Eclaire. The DNA is really great and it's not without good reason that a little hype has started. Now that I can compare the two, however, I have to say that Zimaya offers the better alternative than Lattafa. They are both at a high level, but this Tiramisu Caramel is better than its Lattafa colleague in all respects: performance, bottle, packaging, fragrance DNA. A good catch if you can handle this gourmand caramel DNA. Zimaya is marketed by Afnan and this is also noticeable in the quality. A great brand that should be given at least as much attention as Lattafa, for example.
Price-performance is bombastic here. Simply a really great fragrance that comes in a classy packaging and this bottle including magnetic lid. The bottle has the structure and color of a gourmet dessert. It's really cool and sits well in the hand. This is one of two in addition to the Tiramisu Coco.
The scent of this fragrance is quite similar to Binaco Latte: gourmand, warm, delicious and also really potent in the sillage. This milky-creamy, sweet musky note floats along throughout the fragrance and creates the great scent that made the "original" famous. As the name suggests, this is a caramel fragrance, which is also noticeable throughout the fragrance. Beautifully gourmand, crassly sweet but somehow has something and certainly stands out as it is not represented in the real designer mainstream rather such DNA. These cozy notes of honey and coumarin also play a great role here and keep this fragrance pleasantly soft in the later course. The top note is quite brute with a caramel-milk-vanilla overdose, which is nevertheless convincing. This milky vanilla is present throughout. So is the caramel, but it becomes much milder in the base. Overall, a great fragrance that should be dosed carefully on some occasions due to its strength. Otherwise a great fragrance that shines best in fall-winter. Goes on in the evening but in many parts of the year. It is also unisex, even if gourmand is often attributed more to women.
I have tested the performance extensively: It lasts a whopping 15 hours and is still very noticeable later on. I am surprised by this power. The sillage is also extremely potent.
Overall, a great milky-vanilla caramel fragrance. You don't really get tiramisu here, but that's not a bad thing. If you like milk, vanilla, caramel and a dash of honey, you could also get along well with this fragrance.
