Here's another absolute low-budget recommendation from Zimaya: Zukhruf Cherry, which can already be described as a dupe for
Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum. In my opinion, Zimaya is a brand that hovers slightly under the radar and is sometimes unfairly overshadowed by brands such as Lattafa. The range is not that huge, but the releases are really great. Zimaya is a brand from Afnan, which is also famous for Arabic cheapies & clones.
Here again a cherry scent. A note that is very hyped, similar to passion fruit, pistachio and other trends. Cherry a la Lost Cherry has been extremely hype for the last 2-3 years. I don't think this is unjustified, as this note is very special and also pleasant to wear. Many dupes (including in the drugstore) have put Tom Ford in its place and shown that it is already very overpriced and can be done much more cheaply. I can warmly recommend this Zukhruf Cherry, as well as the releases from Maison Alhambra. You can get this EdP for less than 20€ per 100ml, which is really unbeatable with this great quality. You should keep it in mind if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to TF. It is also always available and not constantly out of stock.
The packaging of the fragrance is really beautiful and also slightly niche. You get a great box that you can pull out, very elegant. The bottle is in the middle range and rather typically kitschy in the Arabic Cheapie style. It's not ugly and everything works perfectly. In keeping with the cherry theme, you get a red bottle.
Officially, this fragrance is categorized as a women's fragrance. This cherry DNA a la Lost Cherry is already very soft and probably designed more for women. Gentlemen who celebrate this DNA can, of course, also enjoy it here, as this cherry aroma is theoretically wearable by everyone. It is so slightly reminiscent of those delicious cherry lollies. There are few surprises in the fragrance description, but this fragrance is still convincing if you like this famous cherry DNA. The fragrance is sweet and fruity and also gourmand: On the one hand, a normal sweet-fruity cherry was used, and also a slightly darker black cherry. These complement each other well and almond adds a gourmand and slightly marzipan-like note. There is also a hint of juicy plum. In the base, notes such as vanilla and tonka are added, which naturally belong in such a sweet creation. These notes also start earlier and you get this great sweet-fruity-gourmand DNA. Gentle wood (especially sandalwood) also comes to the fore from hour 2-3. Overall, a very balanced blend, which is already quite easy to wear and like. This fragrance is best worn in leisure time, but offers many occasions.
This fragrance is also versatile in terms of performance. This is clearly in the medium range and is not too much for everyday wear. The fragrance is perceptible close to the skin for a few hours and lasts around 6 hours. Overall very successful, especially for in between.
All in all, a really great cherry cherry cherry that I can absolutely recommend. I have already tested many fragrances with this note and this is absolutely a fragrance that is worth the price-performance ratio.
