Warm spices, some sun cream, warmth and security - everyday
I can't decide - do I love the fragrance and need it, or are there too many other good alternatives? The fragrance has a lot going for it and yet it is restrained and unobtrusive. Unlike many other fragrances, I can wear it for several days in a row, and that's not because it evaporates so quickly that I don't remember it the next day. I've worn it a few times and considered it "the inferior
Casamorati - Quattro Pizzi /
Eau de Soleil Blanc ", which is unfair. It has something of the creamy rum note and the Quattro Pizzi and something of the sun cream note of the Eau de Soleil.
It lasts a very long time and never has a monster sillage like I'm used to from the other Amouage fragrances. Worse
Eau de Soleil Blanc - because I simply like the Tom Ford better. In terms of durability, however, the Amouage is clearly superior. Worse
Casamorati - Quattro Pizzi - because I also like the first hour much better and the QP also performs a bit better. But I can't wear the QP for several days in a row - it gets on my nerves at the end of the day.
And what makes Amouage stand out from the rest: it has a slight rosewater-cocoa note. That's very nice :)
And so I'm still undecided - but I have a tendency to opt for the worse performing but better smelling
Eau de Soleil Blanc if the worst comes to the worst!

In search of the perfect cherry...
... of course I also had to test this fragrance. I've been through a few cherries: the marzipany
Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum . The spicy-sweet
French Defense. The vanilla-sweet
Rouge Smoking Eau de Parfum and the bubblegum-sweet
Sirène . They're all great for me - but none of them are my cherry. I'm looking more for the sour cherry. And I haven't found the sour cherry here either. Here I have a dark, sweet and spicy cherry. Even though it's marketed as masculine, I find the fragrance incredibly wearable for women. A little distinctive, but still very sweet and absolutely unisex. I find the scent incredibly beautiful, mystical and actually wearable for any occasion. In terms of fragrance, it's definitely something that could be "my" cherry, if it weren't for the price-performance ratio. At over 5 euros per ml, this is truly not an everyday fragrance. And unfortunately the fragrance only lasts a good 3-4 hours on me, after that it is only perceptible very close to the skin. For the first 1-2 hours, the scent is very perceptible to me, almost edible and penetrating. The people around me don't smell much either, but find it more annoying than mystical, spicy and beautiful.
I will therefore be delighted with the remainder of my bottling and will wear it with pleasure - due to the price and the rather restrained feedback, I will at least not think about whether I need a bottle.

Sweet chestnut - feminine, delicate
I had tested the
Aqua de Dora and liked the chestnut. However, the
Aqua de Dora was too fresh for me - like all the Pana Dora fragrances I have tested so far, it had a "strange" intrusive undertone that became annoying for me after a few hours and then led to a real oversaturation by the next day, so that the fragrance simply had to go because the positive associations and the desire to continue wearing the fragrance were simply overlaid by this something.
I have a Balea hair treatment - beautiful brown or something like that. Chocolate and chestnut. I love the smell - it's the smell I've been looking for. There's no ifs and buts about it.
Well - the
Soie Malaquais comes close to the smell - the chestnut is present and is accompanied by sweet notes and something floral. No chocolate, but it's not a hair treatment either :D The floral notes make the fragrance more sophisticated and wearable. I find it clearly feminine and think it's perfect for the office. Unobtrusive - both for colleagues and for yourself. During the day, there is always a slight swiff and while I was still wondering whether it was actually me the first few times, at some point any other cause was ruled out. It was noticeable from time to time until the evening, but never intrusive. For me, it's an easy-grab because it actually goes with everything and never gets annoying, but not a fragrance that captivates me endlessly and only gives me the feeling of "I have to have it" at some point in the process

Coconut milk, a little lime and rum
Well. I read my own headline and immediately think of
Malibù - Party in the Bay and
Virgin Island Water. However, the fragrance has very little in common with the two scents just mentioned. For me, it is more like
Leisure in Paradise only without the sweetness and instead with a citrusy note and more rum. But it actually has a lot more of a creamy, powdery note and is also a bit like
Lilac Love Eau de Parfum for me.
But it only goes in all these directions and is not really close to any of the fragrances. Tropical - yes - but not like
St. John, USVI - it's not a fruit hit. And not a coconut bomb either - just subtle over the coconut milk.
I find the fragrance unique and beautiful. I think it can be worn by both men and women and almost claimed that it wouldn't offend anyone - after all, my mother - my biggest critic and vanilla hater - said that the fragrance could be my best. But then my friend said "smells strange" and so I'm left with the tentative assumption that it won't really annoy anyone, even if it doesn't necessarily meet with approval. It's a fragrance for spring and summer, but the fact that it's not just fruity means that it can certainly be worn in fall and winter too.
While all the fragrances from the brand that I have been able to test so far have convinced me in terms of longevity (still perceptible to myself after 8-10 hours) and sillage (easily perceptible to others for the first 1-2 hours), this fragrance is the only one so far that not only smells strong, but also smells so nice that I didn't pass the bottle on, but emptied it myself. And that leaves me with the difficult question: will I buy the next bottle straight away?

Mind games - all synthetic bombs for me
I would love to like the fragrances from Mind Games. Tried numerous and was disappointed by all of them.
Mentor is lovely on my skin for the first hour. My environment smells it strongly, it smells like coffee and something fruity. Then it turns. The pungent synthetics come through, which also accompany me with
The Forward and
Queening after an hour and don't let go. I find it so bad that I want to take a complete perfume break every time because there's nothing else in my head but this pungent smell.
I'm not alone with this problem - but not everyone has it. It's a shame for me, because the bottles are great and I would have loved to add a fragrance to my collection. And the feedback from outside is not negative either. However, the omnipresent, pungent synthetics that never leave my nose really don't match the high price.
