Opulent fragrance
The 17 Rosso by Ugolini, a masterpiece of the art of perfumery.
It is rare to find a perfume so refined and rich at the same time.
Fruity and floral, woody and spicy all in one.
This fragrance undergoes a real transformation until the drydown.
I regret that I no longer have it in my collection at the moment, but it will definitely return.

The misbehaving sibling?
I own two fragrances, Torino 21 and Torino 22, both of which I absolutely love.
As a result, my expectations of Toriono 23 were extremely high and I bought one here and tried it out straight away.

In many families, there's the sibling that doesn't measure up to its sibling - and that's what the Torino 23 is like for me.

As already described in other reviews - definitely a bit old school - albeit with a modern twist.

Is Torino 23 a good fragrance? - Yes
Is it the best in the range? - Definitely no.
Will it stay in my collection? - Yes, the bottle alone is worth it.

The ratings here on Parfumo are relatively normal for a Xerjoff with a tendency to be arbitrary.
What might be the reason for this?
I think on the one hand because of the very high expectations that the fragrance cannot quite fulfill.
On the other hand, I think the timing of the release was completely wrong (ok, it was supposed to coincide with the ATP finals) - but I place the fragrance very clearly and almost exclusively in spring.
Why is that in my opinion?
Torino 23 is fresh, floral and woody - jasmine, rose and above all neroli are the main protagonists of the fragrance. And these fragrance notes work best in spring and not at this time of year when my nose has adjusted to heavier scents.

H/S are very good though.

I will put the fragrance away for now and give it another chance in spring.

Solid fragrance

First of all, I would like to note that I do not know the origin fragrance Gaultier2, so can not draw comparisons old to new.

The current Gaultier 2 smells great to me, he combines in a casual way elements of amber, vanilla and musk to a successful composition.
Unfortunately, he holds with me at least not very long. I wish it had a longer life.

In my opinion, the Gaultier 2 is a fragrance that is perfect for a variety of occasions, date, casual or office.

In summary, as with almost every fragrance from JPG, you can not go wrong here.

If he is too strong, you are too weak
As it says in the advertisement for Fisherman Friends?
If he is too strong, you are too weak
Similarly, I felt with the Ombre Nomade.

An animalic oud note wrapped with raspberries and dry smoke.
The perfume definitely smells very strong and has an extraordinary longevity.

For me and especially for my environment but just too much, aggravating was that I lacked the occasions in which I could have worn the perfume with a clear conscience.
Have it therefore also quite quickly sold again.

Do not misunderstand, the Ombre Nomade is not bad per se, but just not made for everyone.

Summer dream
The Torino 21 is a remarkable fragrance!
I like the energy you get from the mint notes in the opening, Xerjoff just knows how to make fragrances.

The drydown is also just amazing!
The way this fragrance develops from the swinging opening to the pleasantly soft musk in the base is high perfume art.

Overall, the fragrance is an experience at high temperatures.

Have I mentioned that I am a fan of Xerjoff?
