One of the most authentic Raspberry note which I know
I’m totally in love with Raspberry scents and I appreciate a lot well blended soft leather and suede perfumes like Oud as well. Anyway, the best raspberry scents are those where leather or Oud is combined with it.

Raspberry is not an easy note to make because it is very difficult and slow to make oil from it and is therefore almost always made synthetically. Raspberry in Upper Class is unfathomable, it’s incredibly beautiful and natural, not too light or sweet, and it performs strongly enough and it also lasts for hours without fading straight away after the opening which is unfortunately the case with so many fragrances.

Soft, sophisticated leather accompanies raspberry, and gentle oud deepens the raspberry aroma without being the main character. Vanilla brings softness to the blend and Ambergris adds a sensual edge, keeping this berry scent elegant, believable and luxurious. Spicy notes of Frankincense and Myrrh balance the sweetness of Raspberry and vanilla and Oakmoss creates a subtle earthy base to the concoction. I don’t get any smoky feeling. The scent is intense, but not sticky or too thick. I think it's suitable for use in warm weather without being heavy at all. It's as perfect a raspberry as you can imagine. It's not juicy fruity and clearly edible though which always makes a perfume less elegant imo.

For some Upper Class certainly lacks complexity and may be a surprise how strongly the scent builds around raspberry. At the same time, it is rare to capture the aroma of raspberry as beautifully as it is done in this fragrance and that is why I appreciate the scent so much. The other notes of the fragrance beautifully support the otherwise difficult to achieve natural long-lasting raspberry. The result is absolutely gorgeous.

Although there are many raspberry-leather and raspberry-oud fragrances on the market, they are not this raspberry-heavy and I wouldn't say this resembles any of them.
I mean The Moon , Tuscan Leather Eau de Parfum , Ombré Leather (2018) Eau de Parfum , Godolphin , O - The Exclusive Parfum , H - The Exclusive Black Tier , London Extrait de Parfum , Paramour , Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , Delicious Kisses .

I don't have any longevity problems with this one as I get 6-7 hours good wear which is enough for me and the sillage is not bad either. I think on my skin this is feminine leaning unlike all the ones mentioned above which are either unisex or masculine leaning. On my husband's skin Upper Class feels unisex though, it's clearly darker and more complex on his skin than on my skin. I would say that Delicious Kisses has a similar emphasis on raspberry and leather, but the raspberry is clearly synthetic there and unlike the house's fragrances in general, it doesn't feel as high quality. It stays far behind of the quality of Upper Class as well.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful. I will write a review of many Royal Crowns in the near future.

Intense, unique, luxurious opulence
HEDONISTIC Julie Pluchet first 2017 > then 2021 in a new bottle, haven’t tried older formulas

JUMP UP AND KISS ME HEDONISTIC is absolutely addictive, utterly complex and one of the most praised blends in the market with a reason. It has so many facets in it from the deep and dark fruitiness in the opening, through the sensual and intense floral heart with Tobacco to a rich oriental base. The special individuality of this fragrance is brought by three elements. Skillfully crafted Black Cherry together with Vanilla creates a subtle gourmand character. A dry and smoky tobacco with sweet nuances of maple, caramel, and hints of violet, rose, and whiskey is ingeniously created. The base is enriched with Labdanum which includes opulence of ambery, leathery and smoky facets, gentle balsamic, resinous qualities and soft, delicate side of Vanilla and Tonka. The texture is thick and creamy but not so opulent than the texture of Ecstatic. Both are luxurious, head-turners with extremely high quality and exceptionally skillful blending.

Hedonistic’s sibling Jump Up and Kiss Me Ecstatic is not so complex and I don’t find them similar at all. There is Amber and Tonka in the base of Ecstatic but it’s not that kind of “ambery” like you could think when seeing the notes. You can find some other fragrances which are in the same category with Ecstatic, I mean like other options when choosing some creamy white floral but I don't know of any competitors to Hedonistic because it's so unique. I have written a review of Ecstatic as well.

The longevity is eternal, easily the whole day.

There is a huge list in "Smells similar" part and I have to say that I disagree with them. Like I said Jump Up and Kiss Me Ecstatic is not similar at all but you can sense that they are in the same collection.
XXI: Art Deco - Blonde Amber - no, they share only a hint of the same dna but honestly I can't stand that scent.
Side Effect - no, nothing except the written Tobacco note, and yes, only written.
Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum - no, it's utterly linear and boring Cherry so like written Tobacco in Side Effect, only a written Cherry is common.
I could continue the list but there is nothing like Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic .

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my review and it was helpful.

Creamy, addictive white floral goddess
ECSTATIC Julie Pluchet first 2017 > then 2021 in a new bottle, haven’t tried older formulas

JUMP UP AND KISS ME ECSTATIC is one of the most intoxicating white floral scent which I know. Bitter sweet orange adds the brightness and guides the senses to the rich floral heart. Seductive and sexy Tuberose is the main player but the blend is so complex that this is much more than Tuberose scent. I like how Jasmine and Orange Blossom are balancing a heady Tuberose since it can be challenging for me sometimes. Ylang-Ylang adds not only an exotic touch but the sweetness as well and Sandalwood in the base complements the creaminess together with it. Amber and Tonka Bean together ensure the depth in the blend but they don’t make it dark in any kind of they and Amber doesn’t perform in an usual way - it doesn’t bring any resinous, balsamic nor oriental character to the scent. This is very special white floral even if it’s not so unique scent than Hedonistic.

If thinking the creamy, mellow texture it’s in the same category with Love Tuberose but the scent differs and Ecstatic is more complex. They both have their own specialities, Love Tuberose having a clear realistic whipped cream in it while Ecstatic has a captivating exotic aroma in it. I had a decant of Ecstatic and Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic for many years before buying the bottle of both and honestly I just couldn’t decide what I’m thinking about it. Like I have written in my statement earlier, sometimes I thought that this is too linear and I was disappointed in it but I was comparing it too much with Hedonistic which is much more unique for sure. Anyway, after giving up the idea of choosing just one of the two, I also began to see more clearly the beauty and uniqueness of Ecstatic and I am incredibly glad I bought both and have them now in my collection. Both are luxurious, head-turners with extremely high quality and exceptionally skillful blending. I have written a review of Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic as well.

The longevity is eternal, easily the whole day.

I don't find this similar at all with any in "Smells similar" list. Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic differs a lot even if you can sense that they are in the same collection. I have Casamorati - 1888 , Red Iceberg , Danger Parfum , and La Fenice pour Femme and none of them sell similar at all. Torino23 I don't have but I don't like it at all. The only connection which I can make is with Love Tuberose and it's because of the texture mentioned earlier. Tuberose in them has a lot of similarities as well even if the overall scent is a bit different.

Delicious yet elegant, well made caramel like vanilla scent
Those who have been following me for a while know that gourmand scents are not really my thing and I was completely bored with vanilla scents for a long time. Vanilla as an ingredient has always been a hit in fragrances, I think it completes many scents, but about half a year ago I became obsessed with "vanilla scents" again and I also started to like some sophisticated gourmand scents.

Xanat is right on the borderline between whether it's too linear goumand scent in all its deliciousness or whether it's sophisticated enough and not so clearly edible that I could wear it. In any case, the fragrance is very beautifully made, like all of Tomavicc's fragrances. (I've been writing about Tomavicci's style in the review of Zenobia .) What comes to the uniqueness, it can't be found here since there are plenty of caramel vanillas out there but most of them are either too loud and screechy or too synthetic so I think this fragrance is successful in many areas.

Xanat opens up with a smoky Vanilla which is a little bit like Vanilla in Un bois vanille . This is not so linear scent though and the quality of Vanilla is better (at least what I have in my SL bottle from 2023). There is a gentle whiff of coffee, it's like a roasted coffee, but it turns straight into a caramel aroma thanks to the combination of chocolate, Vanilla, Tonka bean and Benzoin. As the scent develops the smoky feeling disappears and the scent becomes smoother and the notes become more and more intertwined. The texture is creamy and the vanilla scent is intense and clean, very natural. It shines beautifully and despite the thick texture it comes through the other notes. The closer to the dry down the scent progresses, the more the vanilla resembles Guerlain's vanilla and the more elegant the scent becomes. I think Guerlain does vanilla perfectly and this comparison says a lot about the quality of Xanat. It's pretty close to the caramel like vanilla that's found in both Shalimar Millésime Iris and Shalimar Millésime Jasmin - slightly different in each . it's not exactly the same as them and here is less complexity, but as such a big Guerlain fan, I find some of the same sophistication, sensitivity and special charm in it and that's exactly why I like Xanax a lot. There is no doubt that the softness and purity of musk, combined with gourmand notes and Benzoin, completes the beauty and functionality of the blend as both a peaceful cozy scent and an irresistibly delicious and elegant elixir for more formal occasions. The scent is sweet but it's not suffocatingly sweet, it's not a summertime scent though.

Personally, nothing can beat the magic of Shalimar and it's Vanilla and caramel infused flankers, but if there's something in Shalimar's DNA that you don't like, I recommend trying this fragrance. The quality of Xanat is very good.

I will write a review of each Tomavicci fragrance, Ange Noir XXI and Zenobia has been reviewed so far.

Short review and about Tomavicci's fragrances in general
I have been testing 6 perfumes from Tomavicci and I think they all are perfectly blended, good quality scents. Most of them lack individuality, but they are so well-made that if you are looking for a fragrance in that particular category, Tomavicci's fragrances have the sophistication, elegance, and versatility that many people want in a fragrance. They are not made for the true niche snobs who enquire new olfactive experiences and thrill.

Zenobia has the same element that I love in Ange Noir XXI and that is the beautiful and charmingly innocent fruity aroma in the background. In Ange Noir XXI it is Apple and here it's Blackcurrant. Of course, it's clearly more prominent in the opening, but it lives in the background just right, making the composition vivid. All the notes in this fragrance are delicate and fragile. This fragrance is definitely not one to skip over by looking at the notes. If oriental or leathery is not your thing, or you don't like Oud or Saffron, you may still like this. And for those who like strong, projecting, attention-grabbing scents, this one probably won't get very good scores. I've learned to appreciate subtlety and a shy nature in scents, they're needed too. This scent, like Ange Noir XXI , Xanat , Empyrean and Demigod XXI are absolutely great scents for many professions where the scent needs to appeal to a wide variety of people. On the other hand, the fragrances lack "that something" that was originally the idea of niche fragrances - artistry, uniqueness and a certain kind of challenge. Opulentia Oud is not so difficult either but for some people it can be too much.

Zenobia has a refined vanilla aroma, not thick, sticky or overly sweet. The florals are effortlessly elegant, and the base notes create a pleasant oriental quiet luxury style. There is nothing animalic in it, no remarkable, typical earthiness from Saffron but softness and intimacy, no clearly resinous or balsamic nuances but a subtle sweetness and warmth. However, all of the above together create a gentle oriental character that is extremely approachable. The scent is pretty, it's attractive and even if it's quite unisex I think most men would love it on women.

So the blend is 9, the uniqueness 3, the versatility 10, the aroma 8

I will write a review of each Tomavicci fragrance, Ange Noir XXI has been reviewed so far.
