At first, I thought: oh wow, so many different fragrance components! I was really overwhelmed and confused. Therefore, I found the scent to be "too much" and unsuitable for me.
When I checked the fragrance notes, my impression was confirmed: a lot is happening here! Almost as if you were entering a perfume shop.

Shortly after, once the scent developed, the "too much & chaotic" transformed into a beautiful, pleasant, and elegant rose fragrance! The various woods harmonize with the flowers. I think this makes the scent particularly easy to wear: not too floral!

A gentle floral rosewater scent, with woody nuances.

(I am referring to the dark version of the fragrance)

A true gourmand as it would be depicted in a picture book: almost exclusively edible scent notes that make you crave a big cup of vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup. Extra sweetness is always welcome! Preferably with sprinkles & creamy whipped cream.

The fragrance is very sweet and simultaneously creamy, which makes the sweetness (at least for me) more pleasant. Vanilla and brown sugar are prominently featured and dominate the entire scent progression (even if not much happens in the scent journey).
Tonka is also noticeable, but more in the background.
What is interesting, though, is that patchouli & amber give the fragrance a certain depth and ground it. The scent feels darker, spicier, and slightly smoky. This way, the sweetness is not too shrill or bothersome, even though the fragrance is still very sweet.

Overall, a truly beautiful vanilla scent that radiates warmth. I like to wear it in winter or use it for layering (though you have to be careful with the dosage, as the Vanilla | 28 Eau de Parfum can quickly take center stage on its own).

As a fan of gourmand fragrances that aren't too sweet, I have truly fallen in love with this scent. Because I haven't had one like this in my collection!

An authentic ice cream sundae, with vanilla ice cream, strawberry ice cream, and lemon ice cream. The scoops are slightly melted and have blended into a creamy mass. Super fluffy, sweet, and delicious! The whole thing is topped with fresh, but light cream, and fresh seasonal strawberries are a must. A few vanilla-flavored marshmallows are added, not just for looks, but to sweeten everything up. The lemon slices beautifully balance out the sweet marshmallows. That was my first impression of the fragrance. Truly delicious!
A gourmand through and through.

Later, the scent gets even better, so the dry down is really exciting.
From the delicious and sweet ice cream sundae, it transitions to another dessert!
A small tart, with little base, but filled with many delicious and super fresh apples! So fruity and pleasant! In the tart's pastry base, you can see small coconut flakes that give off a light scent. But the apples are clearly the star here!
In the background, the ice cream sundae with strawberries and marshmallows remains, but thanks to the fruity freshness, the scent (at least for me) is very wearable, without me feeling like I've had "enough" and it becomes too much.

I think the fragrance is really great! Especially this transformation: first sweet gourmand, then fruity gourmand, makes it super beautiful and special!

L'Eau Papier Eau de Toilette is a fragrance that is difficult to describe, even though the scent notes are all clearly perceptible!

Moreover, it unfolds differently on each person, which is common with many fragrances, but here it stands out to me particularly strongly.
It is like a blank sheet of paper that is only inscribed and interpreted by the wearer and their perception.

On my skin, it comes out beautifully!
The scent is clean, pure, and creamy, without reminding me of fresh laundry. Light woody notes also come through, which nicely ties into the theme of "paper" and balances the fragrance. In fact, I can also perceive the roasted sesame and the rice steam very well: these scent notes make the fragrance (in my opinion) truly extraordinary and exciting. A hint of rice steam provides warmth and lightness. It envelops you and remains subtle. The roasted sesame adds a slight tingling sensation to the whole experience, without being spicy! The mimosa makes everything extra soft and powdery.
Overall, the fragrance feels pleasant and mysterious on me, as the interplay of sesame, creaminess, and rice steam is very special. I really like it!

It definitely needs a little time to merge with the skin and unfold. The first sniff always seems a bit synthetic and piercing, but that fades quickly!

I was so excited about this fragrance and could hardly wait for the release!
Because I love almost all scents from Celine and the fragrance notes really appealed to me.

Upon the first sniff, I immediately thought: Typical Celine!
I mean this in a positive way -
This creamy, airy-soft vanilla reminds me of Dans Paris
The spiciness and the slight zest (at the beginning) instantly made me think of "Parade | Celine" and partly of "Black Tie | Celine"
However, Zouzou is "darker" and more mysterious - it is the "rebellious" sister among the aforementioned Celines.

Describing a fragrance with references to other fragrances is not always entirely understandable.
So I'll describe the scent without the references:
The vanilla is super beautiful and light: airy whipped and simply delicious!
It is at the forefront at the beginning.
Later, it takes a back seat, without disappearing!
Then comes the drydown:
An earthy base that is simply pleasant and beautifully integrates and complements the spiciness.
Thus, the fragrance feels warm and harmonious.
The powderiness is lovely and lightens everything up.
The creaminess gives a feeling of "well-groomed skin" and is also very comforting.

For me, it is very close to the skin - the longevity is not very strong for me.
That is very unfortunate because it is a beautiful scent!
