Hi @BertolucciK !

How interesting that you have this community in Portugal. Is that in real life? How’d you find those people?

It started with a Facebook group called PerFumum Portucale.
Then, members from the group started to meet and become friends.

Hello everyone!

I'm new to Parfumo and perfume forums.

I'm an American CS (computer science) student who loves fragrance (checkout my username haha). My love of fragrance started with my first bottle of perfume which was Rihanna's Nude. I then moved on to Carolina Herrera's Good Girl, Versace's Dylan Blue Pour Femme and other designer fragrances until I could finally afford the nice niche stuff.

I'm currently on a big gourmand kick, but I love perfumes of all scent profiles and I even buy fragrances that are geared towards men (Initio Side Effect for example).

I'd like to one day go to perfume school just to further enhance my knowledge of fragrance and learn from people that are more knowledgeable than me. 😁

Hi everyone!

I'm Sloth, a programmer from Spain.

Since the past year I've been improving my lifestyle and fallen in love with fragrances.

I've been sampling here and there, finding what I like but feel that I've just started!

So far really enjoy gourmands, woody, ambar and spicy fragrances but feel like I can appreciate most fragrances for what they intend to be, having lots of fun wearing interesting stuff and hope I can build a great collection to pick for everyday use.

I'm one of those that like to wear some even at home (working from here) and before sleep 😄

Among other hobbies have climbing 🦥, cooking, reading, tech and music.

Glad to be here and meet you all!

Hi all, You can call me T. I’m not new to perfume - it has been a huge part of my life ever since my mum gifted me Hypnotic Poison Eau de Toilette when I was 10 and I was going to junior school smelling like a “stripper” haha! That was in 2002!! I have been collecting and maturing my tastes since about 2015, but was an active member of Fragrantica since 2011!

I migrated my reviews from Fragrantica, built my shelves and made this my new home. My account there is now deleted. Perfume is a happy place for me. It is also a luxury and an expensive hobby and I’m at a point where my collection is complete and does not need any more. My future purchases will all be replacements of things I love and finished, or travel-sizes.

My taste leans vanilla but with surprising elements like green/dark notes. I appreciate a gourmand here and there but I think I have enough of those for a lifetime.

Hello! I an artist and creative, I take interest in fashion, interior design, and art. I am new to Parfumo. Previously I had been using Fragrantica, but after a bad experience I found this website. I am new to collecting and using luxury/designer fragrances; I have mostly been a Bath and Bodyworks girl. I have a huge B&B collection that I'm still trying to upload to my collection here.

The first fragrance I can remember wearing was Pretty as a Peach from B&B. I also fell in love with a bottle of Love's Baby Soft I found in my mom's bathroom. I mostly go for gourmands, fresh, or fruity scents. You won't really catch me wearing anythings that has strong smoky, spicy, woody, or amber notes.

Hi everyone and welcome to Parfumo! It's great to have you all here. I hope you enjoy your time in this community ✌

Hi everyone. I'm Avery. I'm a college student interested in science (neuroscience, psychology, healthcare science), literature (prose and poetry), and of course fashion and perfume.

I was a tweenage Nest loyalist. I got the Imaginary Authors discovery set later on and have since been falling deeper and deeper in. I appreciate creating a collection of unique scents. I feel the most beautiful when the scent I wear evokes an experience that is singular, maybe challenging. Very much an amateur but I'm enjoying myself. I also just like pretty things (:

I think perhaps I'll always be searching for a note in one form or another. Like a chocolate-- but now, bitter not sweet. Or a purple that floats. Fragrance is so imaginative. The possibilities are endless. I'm thankful I can contain my enthusiasm in sample sets and reviews. Maybe I can save my wallet!

Hello! I' ve been lurking here for a while but today I decided to join. My name is Marianna and I am a Greek who moved to NYC with my cat Lucy, my 10 favorite perfumes and almost nothing else, 3 years ago. I have a very sensitive, albeit untrained nose, and I am now learning about the science of fragrance, aroma chemicals,  notes, accords and all things perfume by sampling, smelling and reading as much as I can. NYC is an interesting although not very well blended mix of various aromas.... According to my collection I am an oakmoss girl which doesn't surprise me as I lean towards floral, spicy, classic chypre fragrances. Lately I discovered my love for vanilla, hazelnut, praline and nutty goodness.

Hello Everyone here!

My name is Jade and I have been a perfume lover since I was a little girl.
I begged my mom for a ‘real’ perfume and I eventually I got a bottle of Chipie.

I must have used bottle after synthetic purple bottle on myself! 😂

I have collected a bit over the years, but only joined Parfumo recently. I would love to be part of the community and learn to know you guys and how you see and experience your scents!

Big Sweet Purple Chipie hug from the ‘00s

Hi 👋 I'm bee. Got into fragrances pretty recently, so I'm still kind of learning my way around the hobby. I found this site off of a few different Reddit threads mentioning alternative communities. This place seems really welcoming. I'm still getting my footing on the specific fragrances I like, but so far I like spicy and gourmand scents. 😊

I am an artist and love to paint! I've been doing watercolor and gouache paintings as of late, but I've used a ton of mediums - from simple pencils and paper to oil on canvas, and even did a lot of digital art as a teen and young adult Smile looking forward to being here!!

Hello!

I am a 21 year old from Australia, I am a Motherboard / Logic board repair tech (I repair broken computer motherboards instead of replacing them!). I have been interested in fragrances since I was around 14 (My first was Versace Men Eau Fraiche - as it is for a lot of 14 years olds! 😆), I used to lurk the "other site" but I really like it over here better so I have been using this site and decided to make an account. I haven't got a big collection yet since I tend to only buy fragrances I know I will actually like and wear but it's certainly growing!

Nice to meet all of you guys! Looking forward to using this website more! 😄

Welcome everyone! It's so great to have people from all over the world joining this community. Hope you all enjoy your time here! ✌️

Hi everyone! I work in finance, I have always loved perfume and beautiful scents, although I started seriously building my collection around 3 years ago. I loooooove gourmands, but also tropical florals and fruity scents, and some more niche/ spicy/ unusual vibes.

happy to be part of Parfumo family!

Hi! I'm a librarian in my 30s, and I've always loved scents, especially scent attached to memory. Since the pandemic I've had trouble enjoying scent, so I've started this as a sort of scent therapy to track my recovery - and to smell nice, naturally. I like animalistic, smoky, and fruity scents - a good skin accord will easily get me.

Hello everyone!

I am a registered nurse in the U.S., in my early 40’s. I have loved fragrances since I can remember, starting with what my grandmother used to wear (Magie Noire).
I am very particular about which fragrances I collect but I just love testing especially niche, weird and wonderful perfumes.
I go for Middle-Eastern frags, patchouli, woody, floral, fig, incense…. The list goes on and on.
So happy to find Parfumo never I love reading people’s impressions and just like reading about fragrances period!

Welcome to Parfumo, all new joiners! It's great to have you on board ✌️

Hello, I'm also new. I've only had a few fragrances selected at the mall or received as gifts until recently. I was lucky to find out about decants recently which makes it so much easier to try new scents at home. Otherwise I would try 5-10 at the mall, find nothing I really loved and then give up for another year. I've had a lot of fun with decants and found a lot of scents I've enjoyed.

I don't wear perfume a lot, I'm just finishing up a bottle of Lauren Style I bought the year it came out.. lol

I will likely stick to decants and mini's as I'm really enjoying the variety after wearing the same 3 perfumes most of my life.

Hello, everyone!

I'm Michael Nordstrand, a professional independent perfumer. The rules for using Parfumo mentioned properly introducing myself under an account name as close to my name as possible and making my account 'official', but I am not 100% sure how to do this. Any pointers would be very appreciated. It's very nice to meet all of you. I'm easy to find by searching Mythologist Studio or my name, for verification purposes. Thanks!

Hello!

My name's Ina. I used to have a perfume blog in 2005-2008, called Aromascope (not on the web any longer) - it was one of the first ones about perfume. After 17 years, I'm back to writing about perfume on IG - in.a.scent

Happy to connect with fellow perfume lovers! 😊

Hi, I'm a The Bank of England, according to the Other Site lol. That's what their algorithm automatically replaces "old lady" with hahah. I am not fleeing though, I actually love it there, I just found this site when searching for photos of historical bottles and decided to check out the forums too. I really like the chart of perfumes by release date here, that's what initially kept me coming back to this site after I found the images I was looking for.

Is there someone, who has the scent "Fa Body Splash - Body Water California" somewhere and would like to sell it?

Hello, I loved this scent, so fresh, so seductive. I bought it in autumn, the fragrance made the colourful environment shine like paradise. I've been looking for it for ages (whether deo spray or shower gel), maybe there is a lad with a heart of gold and would sell a bottle or can. Slan go foill

Looking at your profile, you’re really desperate to find it!

Hello, I joined since more than a year and completely forgot this section.

My name is Red, I am from France, and I am a fragrance lover as all of you, working in IT Digital.

My favorite fragrance so far is the famous and old M7 (2002) Eau de Toilette

Thank you.

Hey 👋🏻

I love perfumes (some.)

Hello everyone,

I’m pretty new here and recently got into fragrance, so I’m still learning. I’m drawn to woody, green, and resinous scents. I love vanilla but am picky about it. Florals aren’t my thing, though I have a soft spot for rose.

I hope my reviews are helpful—nice to meet you all!
