are champagne fragrances a myth? 1

I have always wanted a bubbly, fizzy fragrance. I have tried a number of popularly recommended ones and nothing really gives me that champagne note. What are the best champagne fragrances you've tried?

Can you tell us which ones you've already tried @Ri247 ?

Champagne notes can often be more airy/light due to the bubbly, aldehydic nature (so I understand why it might feel harder to detect sometimes) - but a few that have a prominent + realistic champagne, to me:

Kate Spade Sparkle
Champagne Toast Eau de Parfum
Tender Peach
Rêves Champagne

Here's another thread on champagne fragrances, too - in case it's helpful! https://www.parfumo.com/forums...

I love Niral . It has a Champagne note. It gives it a sparkling characteristics. However I do not get the dry mineral almost acidic aspect you get from Champagne.

Try Dom Rosa for sure. Definitely has that fizzy vibe.

Hi! I don't know how to add fragrance links to these conversations but the one I distinctly remember trying, with high hopes, was the Wedding Silk Santal by Kay Ali. I don't remember all of them now, but thank you for these recommendations. I have only ever tried body mists that gave me that champagne note, but I wanted something more long lasting!

@Ri247 if you type # and then start to type the name of your fragrance, a pop-up will start to pull fragrances you can choose from to tag!

The The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 was a disappointment for me, too (I don't like Kayali frags in general) - so I hear you on that one.

Hope you find something you like much more, with lasting power! 💖

I'm following this thread because I also love sparkly fizzy fragrances that remind me of champagne! The best ones that I've found so far from this genre are Pink Molécule 090·09, Lucky Me for Her, Attraction Intense and 007 for Women II.

Has anyone here tried Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly? I have read mixed reviews about it but I'm very curious to know if it really smells like champagne, however I haven't found it available for test anywhere yet.

You can smell champagne in Louis XV 1722

@Lempi I’ve tried Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly - here was my statement: "The notes blended together felt like berry-flavored bubble gum, bubbly champagne, and a somewhat-green floral (gardenia?). Flirty, fun."

I just remember the champagne was less prominent, and I’m not as much of a fan of the Juicy scent DNA which is why this wasn’t for me (but if you like Juicy frags/their DNA, you'd probably enjoy it!). The bottle is even more adorable in real life, too!

Thank you so much dear @Gourmandgrl! 🙏 I do like the Juicy DNA, however when I want a champagne fragrance, I would prefer just champagne and not too much other things, so great to know this, I already expected based on the "similar" votes that the Juicy DNA would be quite prominent instead of it being a full champagne fragrance. I totally agree that their bottles look very cute and better irl than in the photos. ☺️

+1 I was really surprised by the realistic champagne/wine note for this one, still, wondering how you can emulate this with raw ingredients, haha

If you don't mind- and are able to hunt down vintages, definitely : Estēe (1968) Super Cologne I don't like complaining about reformulations or about IFRA regulations because they're done for a good cause often, but their current versions miss that champaign-vibe.
