After thinking about it long and hard, I just think
Tragedy and
Do Son Eau de Toilette are the perfect scents . That said,
Coven might be a close second!
How about all of you?

Shalimar Extrait,
Zibeline (1927) Parfum,
Tabac Blond (1919) Parfum,
Vol de Nuit Extrait. Every drop feels like a whole universe, with so many nuances. The tragic thing is that the very old Vol de Nuit with the paper sticker on the bottom smelled like it was only distantly related to the new formulations, which are fresh, transparent, and completely lacking in character.
It definitely is
Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum I find it so, so gorgeous!!
To me, everything about
Reflection Man is perfect 🤗
Reflection 45 is a masterpiece
In the past weeks I tried a few that left a lasting impression on me,
Portrait of a Lady Eau de Parfum knocked my socks off.
Ricci Ricci, such a happy perfume. Uncomplicated.
Bittersweet Oud is a western oud with no Cypriol and no pungent horse stable. I imagine one can spray it on, put on some jeans and a white blouse on and go out for brunch with the girls.
Vétiver Écarlate. Have you ever grown tomato plants on your balcony? This is it.
When I tested
AnOther 13 Eau de Parfum I had a visceral reaction to it in Nordstrom because on me it smells not just like an indoor swimming pool but EXACTLY like the University of Tennessee Student Aquatic Center, which is one of my favorite places in the entire universe! I was on UT's ballroom team in undergrad and we held our practices in the SAC and now that I'm over two years out of college I can say with ABSOLUTE certainty that the team was the best part of college for me! It's the only setting/group of people/activity/etc in my entire life where I've never once been made to feel like a burden or the weakest link in the chain. It was without a doubt the safest safe space I've ever had. Competitions were such a blast for me too, there aren't words that can adequately describe the feeling I get when I'm performing and/or competing, but the phrase "euphoric religious experience" comes pretty close. There's a chance I can return to the team sometime in the near future if I get into UT's vet school and I so hope I get that opportunity (for both vet school and dance). While I don't know if it's the best fragrance I've ever smelled I would consider it one of the best ones I've smelled because of the memories and feelings it evokes. Also if you're looking for a sign to try ballroom dancing this is it ![]()
