Which fragrance(s) have you received as a gift recently?

We already have a thread about recently bought fragrances - however, I'm sure that many of us have also received a fragrance or two as a gift quite often. ☺️ So please share which one(s) you have got as a gift recently!

I will start myself. 😁 As it's the holiday season, of course the fragrances most recently gifted for me were Christmas gifts. I got Eau My Délice from my lovely mum and Gaultier Divine Collector 2025 & Aura (2025) from my wonderful husband, photographed by our fireplace. 😍🙏 We actually gifted each other matching Gaultier Divine Collector 2025 & Le Male Elixir Collector 2025 with my sweet @Mitchcraft and wrapped them in a fun way, I'm adding my photos of the whole "unwrapping saga" below 😄

My mum gave me some money for my birthday and Christmas which went on Green Irish Tweed

My wife got me Invasion Barbare for Christmas and Boss Bottled Absolu for my birthday.

Received a mini roll on of Thé des Vignes. I am grateful for it because I never tested the brand Caudalie and was gifted several products. The rose shower gel is super fun, relaxing and hydrating. Can’t wait to test the roll-on.

as a gift for myself I got some cheap stuff

Tea Time à Paris - PavlovaLa Ronde des Fleurs - Vanille Framboise

+ a local musc perfume made for kids I am using for myself.

+ a slightly more expensive local perfume with orange blossom, bergamot, pink pepper and more. Something fresh and happy.

I’ve been loving the fragrances I received as gifts recently! Three that really stood out are Explorer , Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette , and Black Opium Eau de Parfum . Each one has such a unique vibe and makes every day feel a little more special!

@climabro Yeah, my family knows how much I love fragrances so they're often asking if I want perfumes as gifts 🥰🙏 So is it that perfumes are not common gifts in your culture and gifting perfumes sounds weird to you?

I would have loved to get perfumes (that I wanted) as gifts. I don't think it sounds weird, I think it sounds wonderful! My partner and a couple friends know how much I am into perfumes, maybe 3 or 4 people. Possibly because none of them have ever bought perfume, they may be shocked at what they cost. I gift my friends decants all the time, but none of them are daily wearers of perfume. 

I suppose I also have other expensive hobbies that are more visible or more fun to gift. I enjoy reading about your gifts, though!

My husband gifts me a perfume for just about every "gifting" holiday. For our first Christmas together, he got me Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Toilette. For our first Christmas married, he got me Her Elixir de Parfum. For my last two birthdays, he has gotten me Libre Eau de Parfum Intense (this is what I ended up wearing to our wedding <3 ) and Black Opium Eau de Parfum . And then finally, this last Christmas he got me Baccarat Rouge 540 Eau de Parfum .

@climabro Oh yeah, I totally get that! I'm not that much into niche fragrances myself so the ones I usually get as gifts aren't too expensive, however nowadays even some designers are asking insane prices for sure. I started this hobby at late 1990's / early 2000's and I have definitely noticed the rise in all perfume prices lately. I don't like that at all because IMO such an amazing uplifting thing as fragrances should be affordable for everyone, not only for the rich. Also I think that too often the quality doesn't really match the price anymore. But then again, I have been thinking that almost all hobbies tend to be expensive. Also taking care of your well-being is expensive nowadays. Perfumes for me are both a dear hobby and important self-care and I find that to be a great investment. ☺️

@BriFeiler How wonderful, thank you so much for sharing! 🤗 It's lovely to have a husband who treats you with fragrant gifts every now and then. 🥰 I'm also lucky to have a fraghead husband so we can gift each other perfumes every gifting holiday too, though sometimes we're even bad influence to each other as we're encouraging each other in this hobby even too much at times hahah 🤣 Anyway, a fun coincidence, my hubby has gifted me Her Elixir de Parfum too, actually that was the first perfume he bought for me when we started dating as it was his top favourite, and it has become one of my favourites too and has a very special place in my heart, I have worn it very often during the cold season. Such a lovely little strawberry treat! 💕🍓
