Hirfah-ntastic release from Ahmed Al Maghribi
The house of Ahmed al Maghribi consistently releases some excellent fragrances and Hirfah is one of my favourites from the house.
On my skin the green apple, lavender, pine, musk and sandalwood are the most prominent with the oud giving a slight medicinal feel but it's very subtle.
Once the apple and lavender subside on my skin the dominant players and the musk and pine. The musks used remind me of the dry down of Diwan by Arabian Oud, so if you like that I'm sure you'd enjoy this.
The pine makes it lean more masculine to my nose, but that's really a subjective thing and I'm sure a woman could pull this off.
It's something that could be worn every day and could easily be a signature daily scent. It's the sort of thing that could be used as an elevated easy reach.
Performance is reserved with excellent longevity and good sillage, though the projection is more subtle. I don't go noseblind to this so can enjoy it for the 8 hours it lasts, but it's not going to push out massively and garner lots of compliments - though it's a mass appealing DNA.
