OK so... does Kaff smell like Percival? Yes.
Does it smell exactly the same? No, it smells a bit more harsh.
Do you need to be a fraghead to notice the difference? Yes.
Does Kaaf last longer than Percival? Yes. Percival lasts 6 to 8 hours. Kaaf 10+.
I own both Percival and Kaaf. Am I going to buy Percival again? No.

That's all you need to know.
If you like the DNA, get Kaaf. Percival's quality is better but it is absolutely not worth the premium.

I didnt have any expectation when i bought this, but it blew my mind. The blending quality is superb for the price tag, its so smooth, no rough edges.

What amazed me the most is the oil concentration, 56% oil is just crazy (if whats written on the box is true). That oil amount is on par with Amouage's exceptional extraits.

I read some reviews on the internet that said their bottles had weak performance. Well since this has high oil concentration, this needs body heat and hot weather to activate a great level of projection. But trust me its a strong one despite any batch (mine is 2024 batch), u just need certain conditions to get great performance out of this one. It projects (strong level, not beast level) and it lasts on me.

Overall, this is fbw for me, and it makes me want to explore more from the brand. Idk about the resemblance to Abercrombie, ive only tried Percival, and to my amateur nose this has the same vibe as Percival. Not a clone of Percival tho, but the vibe is going on that direction.

Kudos to the brand for creating an amazing freshie with great and high quality blending. Normally im not really into a fresh frag, but this one is another story for me.

Must start by saying…. Extremely beast mode for a freshie/synthetic parfum, but.. the scent profile is the most generic I’ve smelled coming from this house. Great if you’re into the ralph lauren blue/selsun blue shampoo kind of smell. In my humble opinion this is overhyped, the house of Ahmed has many more interesting parfums than this. Much love.

This is not it. Not at all close. I wouldn’t even call it the same DNA though it might share similar use cases, shower gel-y or so the said.
Now. Is Kaaf Ahmed Al Maghrib a subpar product? Yes. It is not bad, definitely wearable and you wouldn’t be called stinky wearing it, but as other reviewers noted it feels like a slight upgrade from your standard axe body spray and you wouldn’t consider smelling like axe body spray as compliment-worthy. Am I too harsh in this review? Maybe. After all, this is not an expensive purchase but I feel like this has to be said considering of the positive pandering this fragrance received when that couldn’t further from the truth. What about other negative recap? Such as headache inducing, synthetic, and so on? Unfortunately those are also my experience.
Edit: It hits me that this smells like fuller/more complete version of adidas ice dive
