What would space smell like?

The fragrance artfully weaves together musky & powdery notes to craft a fragrance that is not only crisp and clean-smelling but also incredibly versatile. The composition embraces a blend of ambrette seeds, bergamot, iris, peach, musk, and tonka bean.⁣

Musc Pallas opens with a delicate interplay between soft ambrette and juicy bergamot. The ambrette, also known as musk mallow, sets the tone with its soft and inviting muskiness, while the bergamot lends a bright and zesty facet, immediately capturing the senses. As the fragrance evolves, the heart notes of iris and peach join the symphony, bringing a touch of floral elegance and a hint of juicy nuances. There is so much warmth and hints of sweetness in the base that almost smells like benzoin.⁣

Reminds me of…women’s deodorant?

I only sampled this one in passing before, but I recently got a 10 ml of this in a swap because I wanted to test it out again. When I first smelled it, I really enjoyed it but this second time around, I’m finding it to be quite… underwhelming?

Musc Pallas is true to its name: a musk bomb with an ethereal vibe. The scent itself is quite powdery and reminds me (unfortunately) of a woman’s deodorant. It’s definitely pretty, but I’m not really wowed by it. I also wish the peach note was a bit stronger, and I do feel like the composition is missing something…

Overall, I don’t know about this one. I think that if you want something soft, clean, and easy, this could work great for you. But if you’re looking for a clean scent with some ‘umph’, you won’t find it here. As expected, the sillage is very poor but the longevity is actually quite good. You could improve its projection by overspraying and spraying on clothes.

Soapy fuzzy sweater turns bitter clean laundry

Musc Pallas is one of the most complex clean laundry scents I've ever tried, and I suppose that might be the nicest thing I can say about it.

On my skin, it opens up with a very soapy clean floral - if I had to guess I would have said jasmine or lily - which lasts about half an hour whereupon it descents into a soft fuzzy sweater musk. This progression was a little bit confusing to me, personally, but if it had stopped there, I would have thought it was a lovely cozy fragrance. Unfortunately, what very little sweetness there is in the fuzzy sweater phase disappears along with the fuzzy sweater and I am just left with the most sharply bitter clean laundry I have ever smelled. I can taste it in the back of my throat.

On my husband's skin, the progression is similar, except his skin doesn't eat sweet like mine does so it dries down into the more common garden variety clean laundry musk.

The sillage is present but polite. Sprayed on from a brand sample out of Scent Club Mystery Kit #1. Worn about 9 hours at time of writing.

Nothing to complain about !

I visited Jovoy´s shop in Paris a few times and it does feel like it´s a space for the real fans of perfumery, they have already so many own creations.

I like how they stay humble and go with offering decent pricing for their very complex creations, they do not ride the inflation wave and push everything up, hoping the clients will not notice.
The Musc Pallas was for me a very big surprise and I was thinking that it will be the next scent for my beautiful wife, because after she tried the Fire at Will sample, a bottle followed.

Not this time, because I love it and she does not like it at all .. and if we look at the notes, you can understand that it will have a similar structure with DHI with Ambrette and Iris, followed by some nice fruity notes and more Musk.

Thanks to Anne I have enjoyed the 5ml so far very much, I am looking forward to buying a bottle of this, because we will become best friends.

The longevity is very decent and it will project quite a lot, for me it lasted for many hours on the clothes and I could feel it all the time.

Musc Satellite

Musc Pallas reminds me of a peach-flavored chewed-up gum with a slight sweetness in a best way. It has a sweet, clean musk with a slightly powdery note. MP is adequate for everyday use except in summer.

It starts with a peach-like sweet scent, but it’s not fruity. Iris doesn't play an immense role here, so Musc Pallas has more of a clean aspect than powdery. I couldn’t find bergamot, but it has a fresh vibe at its start. Then it dries down to ‘your skin but better’ scent.

MP reminds me of a sweet, introverted girl with a shy smile. It would be watered-down soft pink in color. It leans slightly feminine, but men could pull this off, too.

Sillage and longevity are very desirable for my preference. It floats around your skin for a long time so that I can catch a sniff when I move. Not too intense, not too weak. This delicate scent FLOATS around you like a satellite.

Nowadays, I regret that I sold it some time ago because of its slightly synthetic note, but I might repurchase it someday!

edit) I bought it, and I love it! I’m sure it’ll be my signature scent.
