A total surprise with an exciting fragrance progression
Many thanks to Nick for the original manufacturer's sample of Rouge Assassin :-) Well, this is a really exciting fragrance, whose course changes properly! To my astonishment, the longevity on my skin is significantly better than that of most other perfumers/parfumas at around 10 hours. I find the sillage to be successful so far.
The top note is really crass and powdery! But not like a lipstick, more like a mixture of plasticine and the smell of a freshly sharpened crayon :D There's a hint of bergamot and rose water in the background. In the heart note, I can still smell a sweetish powderiness thanks to ambrette and rice powder. The fragrance then changes in the base. At first, it smells floral of iris and violet. Over time, woody, vanilla and balsamic notes come to the fore. Tonka beans, ambergris, sandalwood and cedarwood can then be detected.
So this fragrance is a little different and has a really exciting and quite beautiful unique selling point for me! I like!
