Gorgeous honeyed white floral!
Mazaaji is such a beautiful rich and honeyed white floral! The orange blossom and jasmine are perfectly melded together with the sweetest, syrupy honey. There is the slightest hint of lemon and eucalyptus elevating it, making it feel fresh and elegant. A perfect spring time scent, but I wear it anytime! I definitely get the Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal vibe too.

Orange Blossom in Spring
A wonderful mild mandarin orange scent. Not too citrusy and definitely not a block. Mild, gentle but delightful for spring. Light and not heavy. A fragrance that doesn’t overwhelm you throughout the day. An almost "always works" candidate. Absolutely not intrusive, but surrounds you like a hint of freshly peeled mandarin. Powdery in a light form. The price-performance ratio is amazing, you can definitely take a chance on it blindly. I won it and am so positively surprised, as I probably wouldn’t have noticed it myself.

Floral Bitter Orange Marmalade in the Make
Mazaaji was a blind buy for me, due to the interesting listed fragrance notes. Before testing, I had already looked for reviews to know what to expect.
As described by many perfume 'influencers' on TikTok, it is indeed a rather floral scent dominated by Neroli.
At the beginning, the fragrance starts for me with what I consider a strong Petitgrain (which is not listed here, but would explain the bitterness) and Neroli scent cloud, which is quickly complemented by the listed Turkish and Bulgarian roses as well as jasmine. The orange blossom gives off a slight sweetness during the drydown, which, however, is quickly swallowed up by the spicy Neroli. Unfortunately, I do not perceive the listed notes of mandarin, vanilla, and sandalwood distinctly. I also assume that patchouli adds some bitterness to the fragrance.
Mazaaji strongly reminds me of how bitter orange marmalade smells while cooking, before sugar and vanilla are added. Somehow delicious, but bitter-herb and slightly sweet at the same time. Overall, the fragrance is rather straightforward after a few minutes.
The longevity and sillage are long and moderate, as I can still perceive the scent on my skin the next morning. The fragrance can be worn during the day in spring/summer, well-measured if you want to wear it at work, as well as in the evening for going out.
I understand the vision of the fragrance, but unfortunately, there is just a bit too little sweetness and vanilla notes for my taste to wear it as a gentle orange cloud in summer. Therefore, I layer it with Hypnotic Vanilla by Zara, which gives the fragrance the gentle sweetness of vanilla and perfectly balances the bitter-herb notes. If Mazaaji had these notes from the beginning, the fragrance would easily be an 8; as it stands, I give it a 6.5 with significant room for improvement.
For winter, I would rather layer it with spicy-sweet fragrances like Fire your Desire or Khamrah Quahwa.

Sweet honeyed florals! Pretty strong + long lasting. More mature than youthful, but not old, just.. confident. Wait for the drydown :)

O'Blüten and jasmine are strong, rose and musk soften it: an unusual elegant scent, also suitable for warmer temperatures, H&S very good.

The opening is stunning, but afterwards it sits beautifully on the skin.

At first too loud, everything's a mess.. But if you give it time, the vanilla/ sandalwood comes through very nicely. Great value for money.

H&S are really great. You can clearly smell the rose. Floral, oriental, but unfortunately a bit too "old-fashioned" for me.
