Aggressively citrusy, but not unpleasant...
Loewe says its main notes are Bergamot, Vetivert and Absinthe. They also say this scent is for women, but Agua Drop has a unisex quality which shouldn't deter anyone from giving it a sniff...
On me, the orange notes lack sweetness, which is why I would describe the aftermath as aggressively citrusy. Perhaps on someone else the citrus would be described as "rich" or "lush" because Agua Drop, like other Loewe perfumes I've tried, has an incredibly elegant take on nature and its notes. It feels expensive and clean. I can imagine this perfume on upscale restaurant owners, "gallerinas", and street tomato vendors.
Wearing this on an incredibly foggy day in December feels incorrect. The correct day would be sometime in July, in between swimming in the Adriatic sea and lounging in the sun next to the love of my life, reading the most random non-fiction book to ever find its way onto my Kindle. The scent is strong and lasts longer than its sillage would imply.
