The summer Zadic
Anyone expecting the familiar Zadig & Voltaire DNA here will be disappointed or not... A cherry-floral, slightly peppery summer fragrance, not too heavy, which none of the candidates from the house are. The start is somewhat synthetic, a peppery, bright red cherry that drifts into creaminess as it progresses. Almost like a nice cherry body lotion! I personally don't notice any chestnut or violet, which for me is a plus point for this perfume. Sandalwood in the drydown. The benzoin ensures better absorption and development of the perfume on the skin. If you want to experience the cherry pepper kick again and again, you will unfortunately have to spray it again during the course of the day, but that is the case with all Zadic candidates. The only exception is Just rock pour Elle.
