Smooth and Subtle: An elegant composition that soothes more than it excited
Japanese Whiskey is a smooth and comforting scent with a mellow character.
The whisky and barley malt give it a warm base, but it’s not as boozy as the name might suggest. Instead, it leans slightly sweet, with the chestnut adding a creamy, nutty touch that makes the whole fragrance feel soft and cozy, while the sandalwood settles in the background with a quiet, polished woodiness.
It’s beautiful, no doubt - but the large 150ml bottle made it harder to commit, especially when compared to the other, more emotionally resonant options in the discovery set.
It’s solid - just not “the one” for me.
