Ambroxan + Clean Skin Accord + something else
First I want to say I LOVE ATH and his brand is just amazing to me, actually 13 out of the last 14 fragrances I've purchased in Maxaroma are from the ATH house (some 10ml,s some 30mls and mostly 50mls). His summery or fresh scents are really nice but they have (IMO) a flaw, they are all the same fragrance, well they aren't actually the same, allow me to elaborate.
The recipe is clear, use a bit of you signature 'clean skin accord', lots of ambroxan (like a butt load) and then add some additional flavoring, just not too much and voila! I really have trouble telling Neon from Legend from Haze (Blue) from Haze (Black) from Odyssey, they seem like the same formula 80% ambroxan, 10% clean skin accord and the remaining 10% is a mix of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, begamot and orange and what appears to me is that each one of those is just a rebalancing of that last 10% and sure Neon does have that pineapple and it's stronger but they are all very similar and even if Ozone is a bit apart from them it still a not so distant cousin so yeah, I'd like them to be different, to feel like different alternatives and not to be redundant but they are all great just don't get them all as I did.

Back to Ozone, even though it follows the same recipe the flavoring here is different so it does give you a different edge to it, I love that you get hints of coconut instead of a strong 'sun tan lotion' feel, this is basically an ambroxan fragrance with hints of coconut and a drop of bergamot and I love it.

I wouldn't call it a summer frag, it's a bit heavy or dense to the scorching summer days, perhaps the warmer end of spring and beginning of autumn are the best time to rock this one

Performance is quite good, just what you'd expect from the brand.

Very nice summer scent but not VIW
Since there is no other review of this fragrance, let me be the first reviewer.

Smell: 9/10
This fragrance starts citrusy-minty. There is a faint trace of coconut in the background but unlike VIW from Creed, the note of coconut is not dominant and hence I can imagine people who are not liking coconut still liking this fragrance.
After a few minutes the mint note becomes more present on my skin and is the dominant note. There is a very creamy undertone in the fragrance which comes from the amber supported by something woody. I also get the Ambroxan/Ambergris.
The fragrance stays relatively linear during its lifetime.
All in all I can say that this is a perfect summery scent (if you like mint). It is mass-appealing.
The best way to describe the scent is: imagine PdM Layton with its fresh-minty opening but without the sweetness from the vanilla. Nevertheless I still find the fragrance very unique.

Performance: 9/10
The longevity is 9h on my skin.
The fragrance projects heavily for the first half of its lifetime, afterwards it sits closer to the skin but you can still smell it around you.

Packaging: 6/10
It’s okay but nothing special in my opinion. The atomizer is fantastic.

My passion
The best word to describe Ozone is: delicious! Sweet coconut note that reminds us of something slightly artificial (even though it is probably natural), almost like an essence used in food but very well balanced with an extremely well-made and sour lime, making the fragrance something addictive.

I recommend putting the nose on for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. I think it's an extremely easy-to-use perfume with a reasonable price.

The performance on my skin is very good, lasting around 8 hours and good projection in the first 2 hours. But throughout my life I can smell the aroma nearby.

Good perfume.

Warning of Increased Ozone Levels
Ozone is a natural component of the air. It is also formed as a reaction to nitrogen dioxide. Especially during strong sunlight - and the accompanying high temperatures - the concentration of ozone increases. Particularly for residents of urban areas, such as the Rhine-Main region, increased ozone formation can lead to health issues like headaches or migraines.

This is how one might describe the essence of ozone. And this is how the ozone that Aaron Terence Hughes fills into his bottles works. As a trained chemist, he should be familiar with the supposed side effects of the substance also known as O3. Unfortunately, there is no warning label regarding this on his bottle.

But more on that in a moment. Because the idea for this summery mixed cocktail is not bad at all; on the contrary: There is the sweetness of coconut, the freshness of lime, and a few woody notes. All of this evokes - especially for a travel-loving soul like mine - feelings of an exotic vacation.

One only needs to close their eyes for a moment, and they can dream themselves to a tropical beach. Ozone hints at Virgin Island Water, but its tropical breeze is significantly more powerful than the quoted scent from Creed. The projection has quite a bit of power, and the longevity is decent.

However, on the way to the perfect summer fragrance, I unfortunately find Ambroxan getting in the way all too quickly. I count myself among those who sometimes react sensitively to these scent accords. At the same time, I am enveloped by the ozone cloud. And here it happens now:

Ozone pulls me back from my mental journey to the South Seas. My island paradise turns into a traffic island, right in the middle of city traffic, at 40 degrees. And the inevitable happens with excessively high ozone levels: I get a headache.

And so the longing for the South Seas ends at the sink. With plenty of soap and a towel. Conclusion: not for me.

But for whom could it be suitable? For a scent from ATH, it is rather less loud and overall more balanced in its composition, making it more mass-appealing. It is not created according to ATH's usual in-your-face principle - those who were bothered by that until now can find happiness here. Likewise, those who like Ambroxan and are looking for a summer fragrance that offers more than just citrus or aquatic notes can find joy here. Fans of Virgin Island Water can also be pleased, as Ozone resembles it but comes across as a bit more powerful.

In summary: We are dealing with a unisex fragrance that comes at a price that is extremely attractive by ATH standards. However, its mentioned mass appeal does not mean that it won't divide you, dear perfume lovers. The combination of Ambroxan and ozone will likely decide everything. It’s said: inhale Ozone deeply and become blissful. Or fall over.

PS: There is hardly any research data on long-term effects and late damage caused by ozone; therefore, a health risk cannot be ruled out with certainty, even if no acute complaints are present.

Ozone? Fat Coconut Butter Lemon Cake
Well, I have to say, I really like the scents from ATH. You can recognize the signature of ATH in each one, that overtone that is similar in many fragrances. Fat, oily, fresh, and juicy, then this buttery coconut note, I really like it. My girlfriend loves it too. The coconut is not perceivable like in a cheap shower gel, but rather as a rich buttery tone that gives strength and rounds everything off. It merges after the start, which is citrusy and oily, with a musky undertone, woody and buttery. The blend with the amber gives it depth for me, and the musk, which has a slightly animalistic quality, makes the scent simply rich. Longevity is very good, sillage is very good. Price-performance ratio is very good. It might not be for designer fetishists, yet I notice that I am gradually moving away from designer fragrances towards pieces like this. Beautiful scent... I will repurchase.

Ozone smells better in the air than on my skin. The scent is like a fresh citric cloud with a milky coconut and salty musk. A stronger Gorse

Lime and coconut on the initial spray, but these fade away quickly leaving a creamy coffee and a sexy musk that lasts very long time. Great!

The namesake ozone note creates a powdery spicy, ethereal tone, followed by coconut and amber. Not for me at all.

I love this bright, fresh gray & lemony note at the start; coconut is tricky, but it works well here because of the mint. Sweet base°°°

Virgin Island Water on steroids. Much stronger, much more intense, and much more radiant. Coconut and lime with a lot of mint.
