Love it

I think Iris it’s the best perfume that I have discovered in 2024. I think I'm gonna buy it for so long.
It’s so soft, light, sweet, fresh. The perfect everyday scent for all the occasions. I bought 2 bottles, one for me and one for my mum.
You can smell it for like 5/6 hours. The projection it's small and I think it's ok.

A Love Letter to the Family

Iris has always been a highly valued raw material in perfumery. Who better to dedicate such a precious ingredient to than family?

Célia Lerouge-Bénard, the current head of the Molinard family in its 5th generation and the Molinard perfume house, has dedicated this fragrance to her daughter.

Previously, Célia had dedicated fragrances to various family members, both with the Private Collection and the perfume Bambou, and now Iris.

Iris is a very sensitive and delicate scent with iris at its core. Most of the magic lies in the top note, which is truly enchanting.

Overall, I can confirm that this fragrance would suit a young woman well. A bit more strength would certainly have benefited the scent, but perhaps that was the goal. A fragrance that represents a young woman in her growth, delicate and lovely but with the potential to surpass herself.

I find it really beautiful and a wonderful love letter to her daughter.

The little Iris wants to be picked up from the ball pit

I really like the Les Fraîcheurs line from Molinard, I like Iris, and now a new Iris fragrance has been released by Molinard as part of the Les Éléments line. Bingo! The pyramid sounded wonderfully trouble-free, bring on the sharing!

Iris is my component of choice when the mood of the day calls for MONDANE. The balancing act is always to NOT smell like the dusty fur coat with leftover perfume in grandma's closet. This danger definitely does not exist with Iris on my skin. The scent starts VERY delicate (okay), no lipstick vibes (plus point). There's nothing peppery here at all. Then, after 10 minutes, something softly floral (rose? Okay, not very dominant) joins in...
I sprayed quite generously by my standards because all the Molinards I know are not sillage monsters, but Iris quickly becomes VERY close to the skin. With the added floral notes, the whole thing feels quite youthful, innocent, but still not fully developed.
I'm not completely giving up hope and pray that wood/musk will come to the rescue. Musk hears the call but makes things worse: I smell a bit like the scent ponies from the early 1990s of "My Little Pony," an indefinable mix of plastic softener with artificial flowers! Mhh no, I'm somehow too old for that. I wanted mondaine iris-white-musk-wood fluff, not kindergarten body lotion.

It doesn't help that I find the bottles of Les Éléments all very simple, chic, and grown-up when the content still flounders. The longevity also needs some work; it's not outstanding either. Too bad, Heidi would say I unfortunately have no photo for you today.
