Acqua Nobile Gelsomino Acqua di Parma 2013

You know, Acqua di Parma is one of my absolute favorite brands. This is mainly due to a very specific fragrance that I have been using primarily in the summer for years and I hardly know another scent that smells so wonderfully: Fico di Amalfi. Well, those who know me will of course say that this is because of the fig, as figs are one of my favorite fragrance notes (but also fruits :D). However, Fico di Amalfi is truly such a beautiful scent that has absolutely convinced everyone I have shown it to. They were all blown away! And of course, everyone wanted samples or small decants, so my bottle has already become quite low (*sigh*) and will definitely be repurchased this year!

But before I digress further (and my introduction ends up sounding like an advertisement for Fico di Amalfi :D), I want to quickly mention that Fico di Amalfi was the reason I sniffed through most of the Acqua di Parma fragrances. And yes, there are indeed other great scents from this brand. One of them is this fragrance here, Acqua Nobile Gelsomino, which, with its relaxed freshness, is a wonderful companion in spring and summer and should definitely be tried out.

The scent starts off quite citrusy. In the top note, you primarily smell the lemon, which comes across very authentic and zesty. It is so beautiful that you want to bite into it (well, into the lemon, not into you ladies! Although… :D). After that, you perceive the neroli, which becomes stronger a bit later and fits well with the further floral scent progression.
Then a light, relaxed sweetness greets you. That’s the jasmine, which you only gradually recognize as the scent becomes sweeter.
For a long time, the scent remains floral-sweet, while still having a slightly citrusy freshness in the background. By the way, the floral notes smell like roses to me.
Even in the base, the scent remains floral-sweet, although the citrus notes have clearly diminished. Nevertheless, the scent stays fresh, as the floral notes are light and the sweetness is not overwhelming or heavy. Furthermore, I find that the sweetness in the base continues to come more from the jasmine rather than from the musk.

The projection is rather moderate and therefore can only be perceived at a shorter distance, but at least the wearer can somewhat perceive the scent herself, so it should still provide satisfaction.
The longevity is also only moderate, lasting four to five hours. But you already know this from summer fragrances and can quickly reapply if necessary.

The bottle is slightly trapezoidal and looks like one of those old-fashioned or classic cologne bottles with its ribbed glass. In the center, there is a gray/silver label with the name of the fragrance. The chrome cap is round and also rises trapezoidally upwards. A beautiful bottle.

Ooooh yes, Acqua Nobile Gelsomino has become a truly beautiful fragrance. It is relaxed and light, delicate and fresh, and smells very pleasant. A scent that seems perfectly made for spring and summer, as it radiates a spring-like floral aura and also a light sweetness. About like a gentle, delicate breeze in spring that you would love to let brush over your whole body and through your hair
with your eyes closed, to enjoy the moment and briefly switch off.

Due to its low longevity and not very strong sillage, it has become a daytime fragrance, as it loses strength too quickly when going out; however, you could always reapply…

In any case, I believe this scent is definitely worth a test. Especially if you want to come across as sweet :)

The scent immediately captivated me. It is as beautiful as the spring that we are all currently missing and longing for. Perhaps that was the reason why I had to have it right after the first test. The color green suits it very well, maybe a bit of pink too. It conveys something carefree and innocent.
It starts fruity and clear with lemon and mandarin. Then it becomes very floral but remains very fresh. The image in my mind is a spring meadow with a clear, fresh stream beside it. The sun is shining and warming me (probably due to the cedarwood).

It doesn't get a full 100% because it unfortunately loses points for the high price. The longevity is also not great; after 3 hours, you definitely want to reapply. Maybe I just feel that way...

All in all, a beautiful spring scent that transports me to a world where everything is simply beautiful!
