Creed Green Irish Tweed with Bubblegum and Apple
According to YouTube, this is a dupe for Emporio Armani - Stronger With You Absolutely.
Since I am a big fan of SWY Absolutely, I thought I could get a clone for a small price, perfect!
But unfortunately, I was totally disappointed.
The scent has absolutely nothing to do with SWY Absolutely, really nothing at all!
And I can guarantee that 100%, because I own the original myself and have compared both fragrances.
I have no idea how "Aromatix" (that's the name of the YouTuber, by the way) came up with such nonsense.
But how does it smell exactly? Is it even a dupe for anything known? Not really.
For me, it has something of Green Irish Tweed but younger, if that makes sense.
It's as if Creed decided to release GIT again, but for a younger target audience.
When comparing the notes of both fragrances, you find many parallels, so I’m not imagining it, hehe.
Now to the scent.
It is green, fruity, fresh, and at the same time also sweet.
In comparison to Green Irish Tweed, the opening (and also the drydown) features a green, fresh apple, instead of the citrus notes in focus.
In the drydown, a good amount of bubblegum comes in.
This makes the scent subtly sweeter, while it remains fresh, green, and fruity since the apple just doesn’t want to disappear.
Which is great if you like the scent of apples.
The bubblegum note is not as intense as in "Invictus Aqua (2016) | Paco Rabanne" or in Hawas for Him or something similar, but it is there. This makes the scent feel a bit younger and more modern than the Creed.
I don’t really know how oakmoss smells, but since the scent smells really green and oakmoss is listed in the base, I think that’s where the green comes from.
The green annoys me a bit because I’m not a fan of green notes.
But this very note reminds me a lot of GIT, where you also find oakmoss in the base.
How is the performance?
Unfortunately, it’s not that great.
On clothing, you can smell it until the next day.
But the projection leaves something to be desired; you really have to spray more to stand out.
But hey, not everyone wants to stand out.
All in all, not a bad scent.
Good for any season and any situation.
Just for me personally, simply not interesting enough.
