Two Fragrances United in One
"Amberythme" is a fragrance that was completely unknown to me for a long time, even though it has been on the market for 4 years.
I had heard beforehand that it is a combination of Angels' Share Eau de Parfum and "Baccarat Rouge 540 (Eau de Parfum) | Maison Francis Kurkdjian," which made me very curious because I like both.
The fragrance surprisingly starts with the familiar AS-DNA:
Cognac, cinnamon, and baked apple.
After just a few seconds, intensely sweet saffron joins in, clearly revealing BR540.
In the first hour, both fragrances alternate, with the ratio being about 50/50. Sometimes AS is more noticeable, then again BR540, until they finally merge together.
It feels as if you are layering the two fragrances.
While BR540 remains present with its intense saffron throughout, AS gradually steps back after about 2 hours. What remains is BR540 with the sweet cinnamon note from AS, which is how the fragrance also fades out.
The longevity is very good.
It is an Extrait de Parfum, and you can definitely tell.
I perceive it for over 12 hours, on clothing even the next day.
Amberythme Extrait de Parfum is a unisex fragrance that neither leans feminine nor masculine.
In summary, I can say that I really like the fragrance.
The combination of both DNAs is very harmonious and surprisingly fits well together. However, I would have wished that the AS-DNA remains just as present in the drydown as it does in BR540.
Anyone who is a fan of both fragrances should definitely try "Amberythme," as it is worth it.
