Chocolate fruity gourmand

This perfume performs extremely well and smells absolutely delicious! Great longevity and sillage. Unfortunately I haven’t smelled la nuit tresor so I can’t compare the two.

Definitely pick this up if you’re into smelling sweet and edible with hints of spices, patchouli, and musk in the background to round it out!

Sweet Chocolate Covered Cherries, with a clean twist

A very interesting fragrance that starts off very sweet like dark chocolate-covered cherries with hints of spices. It progresses to move into a more sultry direction with patchouli and musk that give it a more mature aspect. Performance could be better as it only lasts for 4-5 hours on skin.

I have also noticed that the scent changes depending on the weather as it seems more fruity during the summer months and more dark in cold weather.

Not modest, but sexy

This is a lovely dupe for Lancôme La Nuit Trésor.
They're quite close to each other and I don't think that there is any noticeable difference in quality. Which one to pick is really a matter of small differences in your personal taste, your budget or even what kind of bottle you prefer
If you don't know La Nuit Trésor, these are heavier, nighttime-appropriate gourmands with rose, fruity and smokey aspects. Both feel very lush in their sweetness, with no dry or powdery notes in sight.

When I first tested Modest Deux, I thought it was a little fruitier and airier than La Nuit Trésor. I compared them on blotters to be sure, and yes, I still think so. The original is heavier on the rose and has more smokiness to it. This one has a lot of raspberry, and for some reason it also smells a little peachy to me. The peony is another addition that makes it feel fresher.
There is definitely vanilla and praline in this, too, just like in the original, even though neither are listed here. Patchouli is noticeable in the base, but that's nothing new either - La Nuit Trésor doesn't have patch in the official notes, but it clearly belongs to the wider fruitchouli family.

I think the naming is kind of funny, this is not the kind of scent that comes to my mind when I think of modesty. But as I don't believe you have to smell and be modest all of the time anyways, this is not a criticism. Modest Deux is just more of a fragrance for the-so-modest moments in life.
The dark red bottle on the other hand is very fitting for the scent.

Like a Smooth Embrace

First of all: I love the fruity opening, it always tempts me to spray it again... But even after some time (and I mean several hours), a sweet fruity scent clings to me, it attracts me, it lures me, I find myself sniffing my wrist again and again.
Overall, this fragrance is a beautiful embrace, with juicy fruity impressions gradually giving way to floral notes, until I finally sink into a clean sea of patchouli and musk. I find this scent to be more feminine than unisex, but it is definitely enjoyed by both genders! You wear a comforting, sweet-clean scent cloud around you, which is neither too strong nor too weak. A true crowd-pleaser that I have come to love very much!

Juicy Raspberries and Sunshine

In our garden, there is much to discover. Especially enticing are the ripe summer fruits. Next to the vegetable patch stand the lush raspberry canes. In nice weather, they soak up the warm rays of the summer sun. The raspberries are juicy and sweet, and passing by without picking the red glowing fruits is almost impossible. Next to our raspberry bushes, robust black currants grow on the bush. They are black, strong, and tart. The two berry varieties complement each other perfectly in jams and juices. You then have the sweet and fruity raspberry combined with the slightly bitter, sour taste of the currants.
I also experience a fruity taste sensation with Modest Deux. Sweet, juicy, sparkling, cheerful with a floral, sensual contrast.

Modest Deux becomes more seductive, floral, and warmer after the sweet, fruity top note. The delicate jasmine and the noble peony begin to unfold.
The fragrance starts to radiate warmth.
It develops a light elegance.
Modest Deux is uncomplicated. You can wear this fragrance for any occasion. Yes, it has a certain resemblance to la Nuit, but for me, it is fruitier and more sparkling. A perfect companion on summer days, but also a lovely reminder of summer days when nature takes on a gray veil and one wishes to return to the colorful garden with the sweet, juicy, tart fruits where butterflies flutter, bees buzz, and the warm sun rays warm the earth.
