Iconista Aigner 2019

Finally, a new Aigner sample fluttered into my shopping bag.

I have a good relationship with this brand, as it has given me a lot of beautiful things - all at reasonable prices.

I ponder the name.
Iconista? A female icon?

Leo gives me no information - so I trust my imagination and envision THE icon: Liz Taylor.

Rightly crowned as the most beautiful woman in the world - and that without surgical assistance.

And the feminine Iconista would have further emphasized her beauty and femininity.

The cover promises:
A sweet chypre scent - complemented with fruity accords and a floral woody character.

This chypre note is new to me, as it is completely non-soapy and indeed soft sweet - yet it carries the chypre elegance within.
A very beautiful start.

The berries mix in aromatically but subtly - offering a slight delicious factor without straying from the elegant line.
The velvety rose is delicately powdered by violet and iris, while patchouli and vanilla embrace the skin.

Liz in her skin-tight white dress - in "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Two unspeakably blue pairs of eyes meet - those of Liz - and those of Paul Newman.

A hypnotic atmosphere arises, captivating and touching at the same time.
