Noora. Period.
The bottle is very heavy in the hand, no plastic alone, no even metal parts cover the glass, a stone is enthroned on the head, the lid is even screwed inside. Here you can see a container that is meant for eternity, you might think. Even in some "portholes" there are still sparkling stones. Anyone who attracts the eye with such bottles must also offer something for the nose. And there too, Al Haramain trumps. As kitschy, golden and sparkling as the shell is, just as opulent is the water that lives in it.
The first spray is violent, thunders vibrantly up the nose and shakes every single hair. A dense bank of fog is stuck in it, some of it has already reached my head and makes it hum a little. What ylang, jasmine, rose and orange have to offer. You're the one I perceive the most right now. I also think that the orange here is at the upper limit for me in terms of dosage, because I attribute my skull to her. Good things take time. Not that I dislike the opening of the fragrance with just these notes, it's just violent. But bravely I face the further course. A few minutes later the scent actually calms down a little. Jasmin gets a bit richer, Ylang I find, steps back a bit, but the whole thing becomes a bit more harmonious and uniform. In the beginning I had the feeling that each component simply leaves out everything it has, regardless of losses. But now they have slightly dimmed and found each other, which simply makes the fragrance more harmonious. From then on, I notice above all an impact that contributes a lot of sweetness. Gourmand notes are listed. But it's not vanilla or caramel, I wouldn't call it chocolate either. It is simply a colourless, clear sweetness without great taste of its own, because the floral and fruity notes from the beginning are not falsified, but only strongly sweetened. Only hours later, when the fragrance subsides a little, can I still recognize wood notes, which can only now assert themselves against the powerful other components. Noora is a thoroughly white fragrance. Even the house of Al Haramain is confusing. It often stands for Orientals with tonifying rose breath or oud, but this is exactly what is not offered here. Instead, an almost opposite, intensive white-flowering, fresh underwear fragrance with a softener note. In particularly hot temperatures perhaps a little too heavy, but otherwise a sun child who wants to play outside from spring to autumn. Due to the harmonizing and powerful notes the durability is also good and due to the very powerful sillage at the beginning rather sparing to dose. This gives the fragrance, which can really unfold its notes, instead of crushing itself, and the environment will also appreciate it. Noora is a scent that does not tempt me to wild stories or adventure stories for a change. That doesn't mean anything bad, on the contrary, it's a fragrance to which I simply have nothing more to add.
