Strange and Beautiful
First of all, I have to say that Bortnikoff is, in my opinion, a magician when it comes to natural perfumery. His highly floral compositions give off an exotic touch that I really appreciate. Everything is meticulously crafted—which isn’t surprising, given that he was an architect before becoming a perfumer.
This fragrance, to me, is his most elegant and dandy-like cologne. It exudes both lightness and sophistication, with juicy pineapple and tea blended with nagarmotha, adding a darker, green, and spicy edge. It’s tropical, yet very Parisian.
It’s a rather unconventional scent, so if possible, I’d recommend trying it before buying.
