Dull!
The composition seemed interesting to me, especially that promising “asphalt-suede” combo, so I approached this with slightly more enthusiasm than usual, although I am not really a fan of Chopard fragrances, and well, I was wrong – in being slightly more enthusiastic than usual, I mean. Utter cheapness and boredom in a bottle. The opening comprises mostly a contemporary aromatic fougère bone structure of wood, lavender, citrus scented with tobacco, some subtle smell of coffee, a dusty-sweet feel (amber and violet) and a little sad suede aromachemical lying in the shame corner. 1000 miglia reminds me of a cheaper, subtler, more boring version of woody-coffee scents like Rochas Man crossed with Lanvin’s Arpège pour Homme and similar “violet woodyambers”; just more generic, with more lavender, more (depressingly synthetic) wood, a bit more zest, a hint of green. Basically a dull, slightly confused and more generic version of both (or similar ones) with a persistent sort of soapy-musky-woody feel drowned in plastic. Tragically uninspired, too cheap to be at least “mediocrely refined”, one of those scents you have to sniff constantly to remind how they smell, and probably regret having bought them. Plenty of better options for this non-genre.

Fresh sweet never misses
Underrated as fudge.

It's a fresh sweet sexy composition, valued by its versatility and good longevity.

It starts with aromatics, mainly lavender and a tinge of Juniper berries.

10 mins after, the combo violet leaf clary sage emerges with a sweet rubbery note (asphalt? Not sure).

From there tonka and amber dominate the fragrance for the rest of the dry down.

Longevity is good 6 hrs, moderate sillage.

Not intrusive, in fact can be a great office fragrance but also I can see it on a date.

P.S: you can currently find this under 30 euro! You can buy this instead of armani code, which is 4 times the price. What a steal!

Please don't hit me!!
Today I delved into Chopard 1000 Miglia and cannot agree with the negative comments.
If you consider 1000 Miglia as a modern mainstream fragrance, it does a lot right and would surely appeal to a larger audience if it were better known...
Sweet, powdery fragrances with a woody base are particularly favored by young men during their mating season, and it seems that females respond especially well to them.
Completely legitimate, and some of the sticky Casanova fragrances have also saved a small perfumery or two from certain bankruptcy.

1000 Miglia is certainly not typical of Chopard. I generally associate Chopard with more classic, noble, and less trendy scents, but apparently the perfumers at Chopard know what is trendy today and what can guarantee success.

1000 Miglia is powdery sweet... very sweet... oriental sweet. Those familiar with Eros by Versace might have a better idea of the direction. I perceive very slight bitter notes in the background; whether these come from coffee or spices, I cannot say. The fragrance is too synthetic for that, and the powder cloud is too dominant.
I also cannot recognize a fragrance pyramid. 1000 Miglia runs consistently from start to finish, which I do not find bothersome, as all components harmonize well together.

Sillage: 30 minutes well noticeable.
Longevity: Could be better - about 4 hours.
Compliments: Have been asked about the fragrance a few times.
Target audience: Young men and machos
Occasion: Disco, date, party, friends, leisure
Season: Spring, summer, autumn

Conclusion:
Those expecting the Amouage or Creed class from Chopard will be disappointed. However, anyone looking for a trendy, seductive fragrance like One Million or Eros for a date should give 1000 Miglia a chance!
It is better than many others in the mainstream sector!

Oriental Skin Cream
A new release from Chopard, I just had to spray it on the back of my hand this morning. The two established treasures, Casran and Heaven, are familiar to me and have been on my eBay watchlist for a while. However, when it comes to new releases, Chopard has clearly been more present in the women's sector. Therefore, I was all the more curious about the 1000 Mile Race commemorative fragrance today.

It is very typical of the current oriental uniformity in the men's sector. However, I think it performs better than many other Code/One Million clones. It is creamy and spicy, very sweet. It reminds me of skin cream, for example, from Nivea, which isn't too bad. Outstanding is something else, and a similar Code Ultimate operates on a different level. The mentioned skin accord is therefore not that spectacular and has been used better in similar ways before. But it does spread very closely to the skin. One could describe it as a party scent with an everyday feeling. I see it as a double-edged sword that almost no notes, except perhaps some soothing lavender, can be detected. It is a large, synthetic mass that at least doesn't come off as sticky or too sweet. Probably a combination of rubber, amber & violet that even reminds me a bit of Bulgari Black in its best moments.

The bottle is inconspicuous and rather cheap. It reminds me of Paco. Longevity is a decent 7 hours, and the sillage is mediocre.

A swimmer that copies well and does too little on its own. Armani Code Ultimate is very similar and better! And the One Million generation will unfortunately walk past the bottle in the store, as it all seems too inconspicuous.

Kinder-Em-Eukal meets Cough Syrup...
...that’s my compact summary of the overall impression.

After a long search in a perfumery in the HH area, I discovered it; my expectations, based on the name and the bottle, leaned towards a "rugged men's fragrance," perhaps with hints of the old "Route 66."

Unfortunately, I was very far off. What came here was not what I expected.

"1000 Miglia" starts fruity-sweet, for which I blame a sweetened juniper berry. Lavender "covers" the whole thing relatively solidly with a somewhat ethereal touch, but unfortunately disappears completely in less than 5 minutes. At this stage, there are indeed parallels to "Le Mâle."

From there, the fragrance quickly collapses in on itself. In the background, a somewhat Fahrenheit-like violet leaf becomes visible, accompanied by a lightly gourmand coffee note.

There’s no trace of cars, races, let alone an "asphalt accord"; at best, a graphite note reminiscent of "Carbone de Balmain" is hinted at, but it doesn’t last long.

The base then "buries" all the impressions of fragrance nuances that were only hinted at, as it leaves a bland tonka bean-like, slightly annoying base impression for hours, which is exactly a mix of the aforementioned cherry-toned, somewhat artificial children's candies and syrupy, lightly sweetened cough syrup.

A rather insubstantial, milky-diffuse scent, really not pleasant.

Sweet ambroxan and roasted beans dominate on paper strip. It's fumy and smoky. I need to check on my skin for a better judgment.

Juniper berry and tonka bean dominate here. It almost has a cherry-like vibe. Not for me, but definitely nice for those under 25.

A journey on Italian asphalt with a stop for an espresso. The scent flies under the radar and deserves more attention.

After wearing the scent for a few hours, it felt familiar, and now my memory has clicked. Versace The Dreamer.

It smells like it could be a flanker from the Prada Luna Rossa series, like Prada Luna Rossa Intense or something. I really like the scent.

Fresh-spicy sweet, synthetic sweet. It pushes to the forefront, intrusive, it wants to stand out. Not for work / everyday life. Young audience.
