A Semi Sweet Perfume

Stunning Fragrance ! Elegant , Spicy and Woody. I bought it blind-buy after I read positive comments and main reason that it was created by Master perfumer Thierry Wasser. The second reason is for Star Anise note that I love it. Chopard Pour Homme is hard to find and It is very Rare. This is the first perfume from Chopard in my collection. It opens up with sweet, fresh spicy , Clary Sage and spices notes in the background then dry down is sweet warm spicy, Ambery and woody.
Longevity is Average.

The Charismatic Freshness

Yes, it is fresh, but no, it does not come across as cheap and boringly aquatic, like many of the summer variants of countless designer fragrances. I expected a completely different scent here when I read the comments, but I was pleasantly surprised. I also received the sample from LosPepes, another shout-out and thanks to him!

What did I expect?! According to the fragrance pyramid, I anticipated a somewhat woody scent, with sandalwood providing a nice creamy base. But none of that really materialized. The bottle is beautifully blue, it creates a false impression, yet fundamentally it is a successful bottle, indeed elegant.

The scent is truly wonderful. It starts off incredibly fruity, with yuzu; I don’t really know what yuzu smells like, but I can definitely imagine how it smells, the opening definitely smells like yuzu to me. The musk in the base gives it that charismatic, that elegant touch. The sandalwood nicely rounds it off. I really can’t say much about the development of the scent, as I don’t really pick out many notes. However, I can describe how it affects me; it is truly a very fresh scent, but not in the CK Summer way, rather it is more elegant, one that you might wear in the evening for a nice gathering or dine in a lovely restaurant. It has something that is truly charismatic, a certain calm freshness.

The longevity is, as Los Pepes described, really excellent, so top-notch at around 9 hours. The season is situated in spring and summer, but I can also imagine it very well in other seasons.

My conclusion. For this unbeatable price...one of the best in the category. It has a hell of a lot of class, lasts super long, and is so versatile! You can only love it; I have already received many compliments, as it is not quiet, its projection is louder than many other fresh scents.

Simply Divine

For charismatic individuals like Monsieur Wasser, CPH is the right fragrance,
I find it also suitable for special celebrations.

The opening is the freshness of Yuzu, I think, but after a few minutes it quickly settles down. As "Schoen" has already written, the fragrance emits a spicy and aromatic scent into the nose. Everything smells very harmonious and elegant. The longevity is also great, 2 sprays are enough to smell like Aladdin in 1001 nights for the next 12 hours.. :-)

Actually, the description says it all.

With a radiant smile, he energetically jumps behind the wheel of his beloved Austin Healey. He sets course for new adventures, new destinations.

And leaves behind the seductive aura of Chopard pour Homme with his wind... isn't that wonderful.. :-)

My name is Wasser... Thierry Wasser.

This is how I think one must introduce the perfumer. Serious, discreet but charismatically intrusive without coming across as unsympathetic. Just like one of his creations.
It glides smoothly through the sinuses after shedding its spicy orange peel on the nasal septum.

The opening would be worth a little celebration for TVC15, I think it fits perfectly into its hunting pattern with its rugged freshness. Personally, I don't notice any star anise in there! Gradually, the pepper mixes in. Like ammunition shot from a shotgun into a stylish 60's solid wood desk.

The whole scent is, as mentioned at the beginning, quite cool and unobtrusive, yet unmistakable and strong! As Maddin beautifully said:

"A fragrance where the wearer allows the other person to choose how they perceive it. It can be both attractive and exude an aloof authority."

Very straightforward

Inspired by the positive comments here, I also purchased this fragrance. The decision was not really difficult due to the very low price of €15 for 50ml.

What did I expect?
A fresh and aquatic scent that can generally be worn throughout the year, but probably has its focus more on the warm season.

What did I get?
Basically almost exactly what I expected; the scent is relatively fresh, but could be fresher. Unfortunately, it lacks something distinctive... To be honest, it's almost too straightforward for me, too smooth....
This does not mean that I am disappointed with the fragrance; on the contrary, especially considering the very low price, you actually get more than what you pay for...

As for longevity, I would rate it as good. I have had fragrances that lasted longer, but with 6-8 hours, it's quite decent and thus can be rated as good.

As an overall grade, I would give the fragrance a 2-, so around 75%. I can definitely recommend it here due to the low entry price.
