Velvet-
Creamy skin-like musk with a note of vanilla. Very endearing if not the synthetic note that I find in all Commodity fragrances. I just cannot seem to get away from it! It is repulsive and nauseating. Oh how I wish it wasn't there, because the Commodity scents are truly wonderful. I am almost dreading spraying it on my wrist, but a review based on a paper strip just won't do.
On skin, Velvet- is lighter than on paper. It has a fresher quality, but despite the lovely notes stated; almond, amber, patchouli and musk, I cannot run from the smothering note that dominates all of Commodity fragrances.
