Fruit cocktail!... or not?
I wanted to treat myself to something new at the beginning of the year and just nosed around the drugstore. Nothing really appealed to me and then I saw the little apple that stood out from the crowd with its cute packaging. I quickly sprayed the tester onto a test strip and it smelled soooo delicious! I could smell the apple and grapefruit straight away, really juicy and delicious. Impressed, I sprayed the tester on my wrist straight away and put the sweet thing in my basket.
On the way home, I had a rather strange smell in my nose and there was nothing left of the delicious fruit. I had waited for the raspberry but nothing came. All that was left was a mixture of floral notes and especially the (for me oh so hated) jasmine came to the fore. Fragrances that contain jasmine are always kind of hit or miss and this one is unfortunately miss for me. It joins my headache fragrance collection for me.
One good point though is that my grandma really liked it. She said it reminded her of spring scents and blossoming apple trees. She also thought the bottle was so cute that I ended up giving her the little thing as a gift.
I don't know why I always smell the jasmine from every scent while others sniff the yummiest stuff. Meh on the spot!
But I still noticed the scent itself in the evening and even if some might find the bottle childish, for me it's just sweet as sugar!
