This Moonbeam doesn't shine for me
I have the roll on oil. The scent is nice.. Reminds me of a very weak version of TM Angel.

Opening is a touch green almost citrus but that fades within minutes becoming warm and sweet. Lily of the valley & amber is what I can pick out easiest with some smoky woodsy notes, light jasmine and a touch of vanilla and chocolate.

I used several long rolls and back and forth on my forearm. Sillage starts at about 6 inches but goes to a skin level only in about 10 minutes and unfortunately the smell is all but gone in an hour, even though my arm still feels oily to the touch and looks a bit shiny..

So disappointing to me as I would of loved this for daytime wear but cant see contantly reappling every 1/2 hour or so. I think I'd feel like an oil slick by the end of the day.

Red Moon over the Silver Lake...
....Fire glow warms the cold tea.

There is actually such a song. But it doesn't really fit the fragrance; red is not what comes to my mind. I just had to think that moonlight actually represents cold light. However, this Moonbeam is by no means cold. It is a newly risen moon, a full moon, on a hot summer evening. It hangs huge over the horizon and is orange. You surely know this, you have seen it with astonishment before.

The fragrance also awakens astonishment. The jasmine, soft and sweet, with amber, which emphasizes the sweetness even more and slightly slows down the floral aspect of the jasmine, can be clearly recognized. However, it is not candy-sweet, at least not for me. A cozy sweetness, like the aforementioned sweetened tea with milk by the fire glow, not quite hot yet, rather warmed.

Noble woods? Green leaves? Hm, well. A very slight freshness, but really only very, very slight, eventually resonates through the middle.

I’m starting to ramble here, but I like Moonbeam. Again a skin scent, as it has hardly any sillage and the longevity leaves something to be desired. We know that already. Still, if you carry it in your bag, you can reapply whenever you feel like it. And besides, I think it somehow smells healthy, despite the sweetness. But that could also come from the combination "Demeter - scent."

well, somehow sweet ....
This is a fragrance that is quite pleasant but absolutely nothing for me.

Right after application, it is sweet, then still sweet with a very slight hint of green freshness mixed in. Now there is also a bit of amber to smell, but this sweetness somehow doesn’t want to fade away; it’s not overpowering but just not for me.

As for the longevity, it has been 2 hours now and I can still smell a bit of the fragrance.

Anyone who likes scents in the slightly green sweet direction should definitely give this a try;-)

Moon Base Alpha Status Report....
.. Commander ErgoProxy reports.

It has now been about 28 hours since an envelope arrived at the station. After all quarantine measures were completed, our medical director, Dr. Helena Russel, declared the contents safe and approved them for use.

After we opened the envelope with the utmost caution, we were greeted by a surprise from the fragrance planet Demeter, which took the detour through the city galaxy Mittweide. Unfortunately, the avatar of the sender could not be identified, so the official words of thanks could not yet be conveyed.

One of the vials particularly caught my eye, as it promised to potentially establish contact with the rest of the galaxy. However, Moonbeam could also prove to be a danger to the station and the entire crew, so the test had to be conducted under special safety precautions.

Since no one on the station wanted to expose themselves to unnecessary risk, I had to conduct the test.

With great care, a small amount of the oily content was applied to the surface of my hand, and the suction system was set to full power.

The detectors of the suction system could not perceive any toxic emissions, allowing for the first scent test to be conducted.

The first impression was somewhat disappointing, as this fragrance does not attract attention in the galaxy or even in the neighboring apartment. Moonbeam somehow does not want to shine, not even to my living area companion, who remains completely unimpressed by the subtle sweetness.

The fragrant moonbeam presented here consists mostly of a vanilla-sweet amber note with a hint of greenish freshness. The longevity is hardly worth mentioning and thus unsuitable for long scent journeys. However, this could be due to the form in which the fragrance is presented. Perhaps an EdT could bridge the ever-increasing distance between the moon and the earth? Even D. Mathias could not confirm this for us and refrained from further predictions. Repeated tests always yielded the same result: No scent progression, little longevity, and absolutely no sillage.

After the third test, we here at Moon Base Alpha decided not to send an eagle towards Earth to procure more Moonbeam. Rather, we continue to research in the fragrance database of Parfumo to see if we might discover a fragrance one day that possesses a galaxy-bridging sillage.

In conclusion of the status report, we would like to send our thanks towards Mittweide and hope that the benefactor will reveal themselves at the moon base!

the scent I wear when I crave Angel by Mugler during the day. Same idea, less overpowering, making it suitable for everyday use.

Floral scent without any special evolution. It has little to do with the promised theme.

I don't understand why everyone rates it so poorly - it's just a cologne and I think it's really wonderfully sweet and refreshing!

Green moon biting into synthetic flowers. Kisses? Shelley? The perfumer was not inspired to take flight. Very disappointing.
