More Cinnamon Cake Than Popcorn

Popcorn of Demeter doesn't smell like popcorn IMHO. It opens sour on the skin then evolves into a soft dewy cinnamon cake scent extremely close and lasts 3 hours. I certainly would not recommend it if you're dreaming of a fragrance bringing out the sweet salty caramel and yummy burnt butter of popcorn.

Popcorn Tacos

Once again, a scent from Demeter that is not suitable for wearing and is meant to be just a part of a fragrance library. Perhaps it is intended for those who have had popcorn stuck in their throat in that well-known and very unpleasant way while at the movies, and at that moment had nothing to drink. I believe everyone knows that feeling. And all those who no longer want to snack on popcorn because of it can at least occasionally enjoy the scent.
At least that's what Demeter probably thought, as the fragrance is rather less successful…

The scent:
Right after opening the bottle, the familiar popcorn scent hits you. Quite intense, somewhat sweet, and a bit buttery. But less than a minute later, it smells more greasy and has nothing to do with the actually fresh popcorn scent.
It increasingly develops a salty scent and simultaneously loses its popcorn character. Now I have to agree with DonVanVliet, as it actually starts to smell like taco chips or tacitos. And it stays that way until the scent fades away.

The longevity is okay, and the scent lasts about three hours before it becomes weaker. The sillage is mediocre, although the beginning is quite strong and intense.

The bottle is as boring as always. Just a simple container to fill with the fragrance. The sticker is not much better either. The label has a lot of text, along with a simple orange bar featuring the name of the fragrance. As mentioned, it’s just not well designed.

Popcorn is not quite successful. Even though it does smell like popcorn before application and shortly after, the scent quickly changes direction and becomes something else.
Therefore, I cannot rate this fragrance highly. It is absolutely unsuitable for wearing, even if one should like tacos, as the scent does not smell pleasant at all towards the end.

It's Everywhere

Popcorn? - There was something! :-)

You can easily make popcorn at home, and since I wanted to try this in my life, I naturally did.

But you shouldn't do this when you have a pot going and are chatting with your neighbor :-)

At some point, I finally realized that chaos was breaking out in my kitchen.

I only heard popping and cracking and immediately ran into the kitchen, speechless; it was spread everywhere in the entire kitchen, really everywhere - even on the ceiling :-)

A heavy, sweet - buttery, somewhat sticky, caramelized - gourmand scent hit me with full force, which also seemed a bit stuffy and is identified as the typical popcorn smell.

"So didd helps nothing, we're having a popcorn - party now!"

During the cleanup, the heavy caramelized sweetness was reduced and became slightly salty, as if a few large grains of salt had been sprinkled on the popcorn, and it now even appeared intensely spicy, without losing its caramelized aura completely.

That was it, and I thank "Demeter" for this chaotic but very funny memory :-)

In the first 10 minutes, you shouldn't smell too close to the skin, as it can sting a bit, but that completely subsides, and I believe it's because the scent needs to "unite" with the skin first.

The scent comes from the travel package of our perfume "KingLui," and I want to express my sincere thanks for the initiative.

Overall, the scent lasts 6 hours on my skin.

The sillage is designed in the first 2 hours so that you can be clearly perceived at half an arm's length, and then unfortunately it quickly moves towards being skin-close.

Popcorn total

A very strong scent that hits you immediately when you open the bottle. Shortly after applying, it clearly smells like (not sweet) popcorn. Butter notes are also clearly detectable. However, on the test strip, the fragrance gradually develops towards Mexican Tacitos. That might have been a better name for the scent...
