More appearance than reality...
With Pacific Pulse, I am now evaluating the third and final fragrance in the current range of the masculine faction.
After presenting a mediocre candidate with Noble Night was a mediocre candidate, Ombré Oud was a rather below-average fragrance.
Pacific Pulse once again fails to make a big leap, because it is probably supposed to be something it can't be.
If it has Pacific in its name and is blue, it is often instinctively assumed to be a fresh and aquatic fragrance.
It is therefore not really surprising that it is also categorized as "aquatic", which in my opinion is completely wrong.
A glance at the fragrance pyramid makes this clearer.
At best, a mineral amber could still provide aquatic appeal, but that can be completely forgotten here.
Let's be clear, Pacific Pulse is not even close to being an aquatic Rather, it is a fruity, sweet little water.
And it does so in a rather simple, straightforward way without any real progression, depth or twist.
In the most distant sense, so that you can get a feel for it, you could say it goes in the direction of "Erba Pura | XerJoff" DNA, Kirkè Extrait de Parfum or even Chatoyant.
But please, this is not a comparison! It is for orientation purposes only.
If you like such sweet, fruity combinations, you could perhaps give this one a try. I don't think it's bad per se, just simple and without anything special.
Everything seems rather artificial, synthetic and not particularly high-quality.
It lasts about 6 hours, the silage is rather moderate.
In a final overall conclusion, the brand could not really convince me.
