a very pretty ghost
I should note that when I first got this it took a few days for it to settle into the rose water earl grey tea scent that I smell now.

The first thing that hits me is always the raspberry, which is so strong that I prefer to just wear this on the inside of my elbows and wrists rather than behind the ears where it's closer to my nose. After that calms down though, it becomes a very pretty rosy tea scent with an undercurrent of sweet (to me) incense.

The rose water at the top gives this a "translucent" feeling, like a ghost dressed in lace and tulle. Then it gets increasingly creamy (without going 100% vanilla) until we get to the warm incense in the dry down. Took me a while to appreciate this, but it's a very cozy winter scent!

Afternoon in the Teahouse
The opening smells like walking into a teahouse: creamy Earl Grey with a hint of cinnamon spiced rose and berries, accompanied by a sweet vanilla incense in the background that stops just short of cloying.

After about 30 minutes this fades to a rosewater shortbread, which eventually gives way to a soft amber base.

Overall it’s quite pretty but a little too sweetly gourmand for my tastes, and somewhat short lived (around 4 hours on my skin). Projection is on the lower end of moderate, and the sweet notes make it feminine coded.

Opens as beautiful and delicious creamy-ambery raspberry, ethereal and alluring. Unfortunately incense note takes over as it lingers on skin

It's like the raspberry cream filling of an expensive chocolate, but instead of chocolate there's incense and tea. Warm.
