a very pretty ghost
I should note that when I first got this it took a few days for it to settle into the rose water earl grey tea scent that I smell now.
The first thing that hits me is always the raspberry, which is so strong that I prefer to just wear this on the inside of my elbows and wrists rather than behind the ears where it's closer to my nose. After that calms down though, it becomes a very pretty rosy tea scent with an undercurrent of sweet (to me) incense.
The rose water at the top gives this a "translucent" feeling, like a ghost dressed in lace and tulle. Then it gets increasingly creamy (without going 100% vanilla) until we get to the warm incense in the dry down. Took me a while to appreciate this, but it's a very cozy winter scent!
