Sophisticated, elegant rose scent

Surprisingly, this is a very medicinal take on a rose scent that I enjoy. The geranium and mandarin addition to the roses reminds me of an essential oil mixture. And that is exactly why I bought this. To some it may smell like an old lady scent, but I think it's very pleasant. My other rose perfumes are Penhaligon's Elisabethan Rose and Vaara, Rose Noir by Miller Harris, and Delina by PDM.

THE fragrance for rose lovers

One of the things I really like about this fragrance is the variety of rose notes they use. This is THE rose lovers fragrance. It's everything rose with heart notes of warm mandarin and citrusy bergamot. It's warm, summery, and classic. Rose fragrances tend to not be my go to - I just happen to be drawn to other notes more. But I can certainly see the appeal and why it's so popular amongst lovers of rose fragrances. It's sweet, rosey, classic, and reliable!

I hate roses.

As much as I hate roses, this one is pretty balanced even if its still in the stereotypical bubble of pinky pink girl. At least it's not disgusting as Yves' Rocher, the geranium is a fresh good note in it and I won't complain after all these roses. Its a soft pink cloud for women and women only, but I can't see nobody before his 50s wearing that I'll be honest. Lowkey enjoying the musk in the dry down, but that's the only nice thing I have to say.

Roses to go

I curiously tried Rose n´Roses, as I am a rose lover.

But instead of a lush bouquet, rose petals float down to me - lightly circling my nose.

The aquatic mandarin adds transparency and keeps the friendly scent afloat.
Musk provides a delicate framework for the petals, and one is inclined to move along with the fragrance, as it is buoyant.

Nevertheless, it is not a young girl’s scent - the beautiful Natalie Portman is well chosen as the face of the campaign.

The fragrance feels well-groomed and has a positive vibe.
In a way, it is adventurous.

I hardly find it romantic - rather flirty with a sense of non-commitment.
But I like that too.

If I want a dramatic rose - then I reach for Fille de Berlin.

The Dior roses have no thorns - as mentioned - it’s just soft petals.

Rose n`Roses does not convey deep feelings - but it gives a rosy red tint that makes everyday life more beautiful.

For me, the most beautiful new Miss Dior variant

There are now many variants of Miss Dior.
Most of them don't convince me, but now and then there's a good flanker among them.
Like this rosy fruity scent.
It also has a slightly powdery and citrusy quality, it hardly contains soapy notes, feels very clean, and the mandarin note smells fabulous.
The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the top note is wonderfully rosy while the base accord is rather colorless. In my opinion, they could have added some nice accent, perhaps a woody note or another suitable floral note.
However, this is forgivable. This flanker has a great rose note-dominated top note, a fruity heart, an elegantly appealing citrus, and also a certain powderiness that doesn't come off too dry. In my opinion, this is an underrated floral and fruity scent that is suitable for everyday wear and seems appropriate for most occasions.
Of course, there are occasions that require an even more subtle perfume, but those are rather rare. The longevity is average, and with a slightly stronger dosage, the scent leaves a well-perceptible scent trail that hardly anyone would find bothersome.
I wish you lots of fun testing or much pleasure with this good and modern scent.
