In the past, Escada's seasonal fragrances were true individualists!
I really liked this Escada seasonal fragrance series at first! I still buy the new "creation" every year, but for many years now, they have been quite interchangeable fruity waters (which I do like, although I find the Cherry a bit strange). However, Lily Chic from the early days really stands out! It is probably one of the best in the series (although such a rating is of course purely subjective). Contrary to what the name suggests, the fragrance contains no lily at all! But it does have Lily of the Valley, which I wouldn't immediately recognize. The scent comes across to me as floral-fresh and slightly fruity (I can recognize the pear!), ideal for the first early summer days, if you want to count May in. And my bottle from 2000 is indeed still not spoiled. Summer en Provence, Que viva, Sunny fruity, Tropical Punch, and the other "early" ones are unfortunately already a bit lacking.
