Fizzy blueberry shampoo and marshmallows

No sane person would expect an Escada scent in this kind of packaging to be some mind-blowing, life-changing complex masterpiece, and it certainly isn't, but it's a very cute scent. The blueberry note comes across as fizzy, juicy and a bit artificial. Not necessarily like a super-sweet blueberry candy, more like a blueberry scented shampoo or shower gel. And it's definitely, distinctly blueberry and not raspberry, strawberry or any other fruit.
There is a clean, musky background hum that keeps this from going too cloying. Jasmine? I don't really think so, more like generic white florals.
Of course this also has a sweetness to it. What is called a macaron in the notes lists smells more like a vanillic marshmallow to me. But who cares about those details? Show Me Love is a cute and nostalgic fruity gourmand, fitting for the toy-like bottle, and the earworm of the 90s hit by Robin S I get every time I read the name only adds to the effect.

So far, this is my favorite from the Escada Love collection. Much better than the ho-hum floral Fairy Love or the green apple bubblegum overload of Candy Love. I haven't tried Party Love in depth yet though.
I don't feel like I desperately want to smell this, but I like it.

High quality blueberry shampoo

As others have said, this fragrance certainly isn't mind blowing, but it is a lovely, clean scent for every day.

It starts out with a bright blueberry, and the hint of soap or shampoo is there right from the beginning. This perfume makes me feel like I've just used a really nice shampoo. The blueberry and soapiness stick around the full time (about six hours on me), and get slightly sweeter over time.

This is a great everyday or work fragrance. Totally inoffensive, not too much projection, a lovely addition to my not-super-work-appropriate collection.

Blueberry candy

Opens with an artificial blueberry with a sharp synthetic green note. The green note wears off quickly, & the perfume settles into a sugary blueberry candy. I am strongly reminded of the Trader Joe's version of Sunkist Fruit Gems, which do come in a blueberry flavor. A hint of vanilla to finish; I personally do not get the full macaron experience.

Heartfelt and Charming

I wanted to look for affordable fragrance gifts, but the promotional table was cleared away in my regular perfume shop.
No promotions before Christmas, I am informed.
What a pity, so I head to Rossi instead.
There’s a 20% discount on some fragrances.
Well then, that works.
The beautiful Cavalli Nero Assoluto goes into the shopping basket when my eyes catch the lovely Escada heart, with the beautiful title Show me love.
Love should always be shown, and the fragrance is also quite lovable.
Sweet and fruity, blueberry greets me, accompanied by bright jasmine.
Manageable ingredients, but they fit well together.
Moreover, the friendly Escada brightens up the gray autumn day.
Without a word, my husband adds it to the Cavalli and smiles at me.
Show me Love indeed.

Blueberry Love!

As a big fan of Escada fragrances and someone who keeps an eye on both new releases and older scents, I finally decided to get "Show me Love."

At first, I was quite skeptical when I discovered jasmine in the fragrance pyramid, as I absolutely do not like jasmine scents. I was very disappointed with "Cherry in Japan," while I was pleasantly surprised by "Miami Blossom," which is why I decided to give this one a try.
And lo and behold, I was pleasantly surprised!
The blueberry and the really only slight jasmine harmonize perfectly, making it smell sweet and delicious all the time without being overly heavy.

What is the scent like?
If you were to ask me, I would probably say that it is somewhat synthetic, maybe even a bit soapy. Not overpowering but sweet and a little darker. Do you know those blueberry muffin teas? This scent reminds me of that.
On me, it lasts a few hours, maybe 4, maybe 5.

Bottle
I find the bottle cute, although it fits more into a teenager's room :P I wondered how it would open, and what can I say, it stands a bit upside down. Sure, there are prettier bottles, but there are also much worse ones.
The spraying is a bit harder, making it not so easy to dose, and you quickly end up with a bit more product on your skin.
My conclusion
If you don't like jasmine but still want to enjoy blueberries, you can definitely give this fragrance a chance! You can hardly notice the jasmine as it blends wonderfully with the blueberry :) I, for one, will definitely wear it more often!
